First off, congrats on your wonderful news! Pregnancy is always a time of mixed emotions........... especially the first trimester! You're happy, you're scared, you're doubtful. Just keep in mind, however, that all of these feelings are completely normal. I myself am 12 weeks pregnant with my first ...

Breasts Not Sore Anymore

Hi all,

I've noticed over the past week or so that my nipples have been declining in the amount of tenderness. This has worried me, of course, as I am 12 weeks pregnant and I thought I should be feeling breast soreness for quite some time throughout the pregnancy.

I have had a breast reduction (6 ...

Zen,

Are you, by any chance, on the progesterone suppositories? They can make you spot brown. I had it mostly weeks 5-8. It's starting to ease up a little bit now, but I still have it occasionally. Everytime I take my neurotic self for a checkup, the baby's fine.

Hilda,

First, I'd like to say congratulations to you and your DH on your happy news. I, like you, got pregnant on my first IVF cycle. It has been a roller coaster of emotions for us. In my 5th week of pregnancy I was hospitalized for hyperstimulation :? It was a nightmare! I didn't have to be ...

I was on estrogen patches (applied once every 3 days) from the day of transfer until the eigth week of pregnancy. I was worried to entire time because I, too, had read about risks to developing fetus. I discussed with MD and he said that the risk in IVF patients was very low because the body was not ...

I hope that my story can give you a little bit of hope.

I'm 33 years old and have been married for 12 years-- with my husband for 3 years before that. From the time that we were married, we have been trying to have a child, that is, up until the year 2000 after my SECOND ruptured ...
