REALLY bad period pain after IVF cycle

Has anyone else had really bad period pains after an IVF cycle? It's the worst I've ever known - pain killers don't help and it's relentless to the point where I end up feeling really sick. Lasts for about 2 days. But strangely (and not usual for me), it's really light flow - extra surprising given ...

Thanks for the help

Thanks for the feedback and support, very appreciated.

In a cruel twist of fate my results have been delayed so I still haven't had official notice yet. But a couple of days ago it was pretty clear it's a no go this time. And sure enough, am getting my period.

Amazing how facing my worst fear is ...

premenstrual, drugs or pregnant??

As this is my first complete cycle of IVF I'm completely at a a loss as to what to expect post-transfer. If the 2 week wait isn't hard enough, I'm also totally in the dark as to what's happening with my body! I can't work out what might be pre-menstrual pains, the drugs or onset of pregnancy ...

cramping post transfer

So glad to read all this! I'm day 8 after my transfer - my first. I knew the waiting would be hard, but never thought it would be like this. I'm quite obssessive, despite my best efforts! My biggest fear has been the pelvic pain - I keep thinking it must mean I'm premenstrual (even though it started ...

acupuncture

I'm sitting on the fence, having had acupuncture for 3 months.

There are so many things out there to try that I tend to only go for those that have scientific research to back up the claims. Numerous studies have shown acupuncture to be helpful, mainly in terms of treatment before and after embryo ...

Pregnyl side effects

Hi everyone,

I'm hoping to find out what experiences others may have had using Pregnyl. This is the first time we've reached embryo transfer stage so it's all new to me!

While the bloating I had is slowly going away, I still have periodic pelvic pain (I had it for a couple of full days after the ...

Failed fertilisation - no binding

Hi all – what a great support group!

Hey, I just did my first IVF cycle – or rather, failed to complete my first IVF cycle actually. There is where I was hoping someone might be able to shed some light. We had positive outcomes all the way to fertilisation… and then had complete, unanticipated ...
