GOING WEll- HAD ULTRASOUND TODAY!

HEY EVERYONE! HAD MY 2ND ULTRASOUND TODAY AND EVERYTHING LOOKS GREAT! I HAVEN'T POSTED LATELY BECAUSE BEEN TRYING TO KEEP MY FEET UP AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE WITH THE BLEEDING I HAVE HAD. I HAD TO GO IN LAST WED FOR MY FIRST ULTRASOUND TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING WAS LOOKING NORMAL AND IT WAS. IT HAS BEEN A SCARE THOUGH! JUST TAKING EACH DAY ONE AT A TIME. I HAVE ONE BABY,AND HEARBEAT TODAY WAS 136. HOPE EVERYONE IS DOING FINE AND IM HERE TO ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS ABOUT THE JOURNEY OF IVF IF ANYONE NEEDS ANYTHING.

- HAS THE BLEEDING STOPPED? HAS IT BEEN LIKE AF CONSTANTLY FROM THE START? POOR YOU - BUT GLAD TO SEE ALL IS WELL!!

Great to hear that all is going well for you. I'm in a similar situation to you, i have had bleeding (brown and red) so now i am really scared that things are not going as they should. The wait until the scan next Tuesday is awful. Stories like yours brings a little hope

Thanks everone for your encouragement.

Sue e hang in there, i know it is scary. I am having brown all day long so I have to wear a pantyliner. The red blood comes once maybe two times a day. The doctors have said as long as Im not passing clots everything should be fine.(sometimes its grey looking and i'm wondering if its the white suppository and the brown mixed together) Are you doing vaginal suppositorys? Is your red blood enough to see on your underwear, or is it just when you tee tee and then wipe? Great to know someone else is out there with me too!

Hi Journey,

On Tuesday when i had the red blood it was mainly when i wiped

but there was a small spot on my pad. Last night there was even less when i wiped and it was a bit more pinky, so far there has been none today. When did you start with the brown blood and then the red? How far gone are you?

I really appreciate the advice, Tuesday seems ages away

HEY SUE E- I HAVE BEEN DOING THIS FOR THE PAST TWO WEEKS. IT GOES RED THEN BROWN. I AM 7 WEEKS ALONG SO STILL IN THE SCARY FIRST TRIMESTER. HOW FAR ALONG ARE YOU? WHAT SCAN ARE YOU GOING FOR ON TUES?

Hi again,

I am 5 wks 6 days since ET. I think the scan on tuesday is an internal one to see if there is a heartbeat, really hoping and praying there is one. I have never got to see a heartbeat on any of my past pregnancies. when is your next scan?

Just wanted to say try and take it easy. Happy that your scan went well Journey. Sue, please try not to worry

things are going to be fine.

I know if must be impossibly hard, but Tuesday is fast approaching. Hang in there. I know its impossible to not envisage the worst, these are such precious and scary times, but it really does seem like the spotting can be completely normal. Am wondering can you go along and see if you can just have a blood test whilst your waiting? Even through your GP? If you can see your HCG is rising it could allay some fears and put your mind at rest in the meantime.

Thanks Mel P, trying to stay positive but thats one of the good things about being pregnant (i thought) not having that monster every month.

Sue let me know how things are going on Tues! My next scan is suppose to be on March 30.

Hi Amanda

Just wanted to wish you good luck for your scan next Thursday. Sounds like you are doing the right thing and resting - well done!! I am 3 weeks post ET and have also had bleeding and brown spotting. It had just been brown spotting but bleeding started again yesterday and it felt like I had AF pain. Anyway, I am trying to keep positive (what else can you do?!

) and have a scan and blood test this Wednesday.

Sue - good luck for tomorrow's scan. It's all so nerve-racking isn't it? Let us know how it goes.

Hi Amanda,
Hope you are feeling better! Try to stay positive and stress free I know that helps. Also, if the docs say everything is going well then I wouldn't worry about the bleeding. Some women have their AF all through their pregnancies. Hearing a heartbeat is great! Hope evrything continues to go well for you and I hope i can join you in the pregnant department soon. I am in my 2ww and cant wait until 3/27 when I can finally test!

THEY HAVE CHANGED MY APPT TO MON THE 27TH INSTEAD OF THUR THE 30TH. I WILL HAVE ANOTHER ULTRASOUND WHICH IS FINE WITH ME. I LOVE SEEING MY BABYS HEARTBEAT! TAKE CARE GIRLS!
