:( well today i feel a bit down.

This morning after a visit to the loo i had a small amount of brown, wasn't blood though. It was like the start of my AF but after about 50 trips to the toilet for more checking, nothing has appeared and the feelings in my tum have gone again. My AF is due tomorrow and i'm terrified. I have to get to Friday without AF showing up. I know that people have lots of AF signs and symptoms and still get a BFP, so am trying to think of the positives.
Wish it was Saturday, this is hell

Catch up soon.

Hey Jen - don't be discouraged. Brownish blood could be implantation!! This could be a good sign! :)

The 2ww is hell, isn't it? When did you have treatment? Was it IUI or IVF?

 Hi girls

Heather - Hope you have some good news?

Libby - Good luck for tomorrow, everything is crossed.

Lisa - How are you doing today, not long now. Have you touched that pee-stick yet?

Well i feel better today, my AF is due but i don't feel as pre-menstrual as yesterday and now my boobs are tingling on and off. There is still a long way to go and its hell on earth all this waiting.
Does anyone do anything on the second week. I have been resting lots and feel so lazy, what do you all think?
Away to put my feet up again.

As my friend said - A REST EVERYDAY KEEPS THE AF AWAY.

Catch up with you all soon

Hi,

Just had a phone call from the hospital, the did ICSI yesterday, and the told me that they could only use 2 of the 6 eggs, and this morning only 1 has fertilized, they have said that unless I hear from them to go for ET tommorrow, and that the 1 remaining one as a 90% chance of making it to transfer. I have shed a few tears today, and said a few prayers, as this is the end of the road for us if my little embie dosn't make it.

I am trying to get myself into the PMA but I am finding it hard, and dreading the phone ringing.

God luck to all of you, and hope all your dreams come true. :D

You hang in there, it only takes one.

Don't know if you read my "it only takes one" thread a few weeks ago.
The nurse at the hospital informed us that a 41 year old woman had been in for her treatment. She got a poor response when on the drugs, hardly got any follies and then only got one egg. The egg was very, very poor quality and the nurses were sure there was definately no chance of success and yep you guessed it---------BFP. Can you imagine what the woman was thinking going through her treatment, she must have been sure it was a non starter, then had the shock of her life when she got a positive.
So try to think positively, i know its hard but one can grow to be your health bundle of joy.
I am here all day if you need a chat. Got my feet up and praying my AF doesn't show before D-Day on Sunday.

Mitzy I am sending you some babydust for that one little embie!! 90% is a great number!!!

Jen - I have not touched the pee stick - yet. If I do - it will be Thursday morning. It will be hard enough to get a negative and I don't want to risk getting a false negative either. If I do it Thursday - then go for my blood test, then waiting for the phone call won't be so agonizing b/c I will know what to expect. Plus the longer I wait - the less chance I have of getting a false neg. I went home last night with massive AF cramps. Enough that I was crying in frustration. I laid in bed and read - poor dh was trying to make me feel better. I fell asleep about 9:30 PM and woke up at 5:30 AM wide awake and ready to go. AF cramps are gone and now I just feel slight little twingy motions instead. Guess it could still be sign of AF but I am trying to put it out of my mind. My boobs no longer hurt at all now. Don't know what to make of that. This really is agonizing! I am glad, however, to hear that you sound so much better. I am feeling really good about you getting a BFP!!!

 Hi Lisa, I think it must be so hard to have to wait on the hospital to call. You must get so tense waiting on the phone to ring. We are given a hpt and have to do it at home, its nerve racking but at least its private and you can do it in your own time. Last cycle my AF came early so i knew there would only be one blue line but this time i am hoping for a lovely glowing two. Still a long way to go though.
Glad your feeling a bit better. I am also having some shooting pains but there not too sore. Lets just hope our little embies are digging deeper in.

In the October Buds the girls always name their embies. Mine are called Pebbles and Bambam. What about some for yours, any idea girls. Lets have a naming ceremony for our embies, it will distract us from the wait.

Lisa & Jen,

Thanks for the support it really does help. :D

I have everything crossed for you both, and will say a little prayer for you both for a BFP :D

I am going to go and keep myself busy today, off to clean out my wardrobes and drawers, that should help pass the time. It wouldn't be so bad if there was a few embies, but with there only being one, I am on tenterhooks. I just can't wait for it to be inside so it can snuggle in.

As for naming my embies - Frank and Bean comes to mind. Don't know why - I think I am hungry - lol. My dad has been referring to them as "walnuts". He always called my sister's peanut when she was pregnant - now her daughter is 2 and peanut is still her nickname. That is much cuter than walnut so I am going to have to do something about that.

Mitzy - I know it is hard - but don't give up hope. I have seen so many success stories on this site from women who only had one embie transferred. Keep your chin up. :D

Jen,

My DH came up with Thor and Xena for our embies names! Said they needed strong warrior names so they will stick! So hopefully we will see them Thursday settling nicely in their new home!

PMA to all!!!!
