Hi there,

Thanks for your messages. I am actually feeling very chirpy today - which is great - because I have felt like a black cloud has been hanging over me for the last couple of days. But onwards and upwards....

Kathryn, I had an ectopic removed in December (due date would have been tomorrow!) and then a miscarriage on Valentines Day! But at least it has given us some hope that it could be possible for us to conceive naturally (even though I only have 1 tube left) - and it will be fun trying anyway!

Love

Dolly

Dear Dolly

I'm really sorry it didn't work.

Gosh - two natural pregnancies in 9 months sounds amazing by anybody's standards so hoping, hoping it works for you very soon. That must give you hope of conceiving naturally again, especially if you've still got all the drugs pumping around making you extra fertile. I really really hope so.

Thinking of you, and sending you lots of love. I hope you've got some time off now to rest up properly and look after yourselves and pamper yourselves for a while.

Take care and all the very very best

Claire x

Maybe we'll be cycle buddies next time round.
Is it really true that we have a more of a chance of conceiving naturally before the next cycle? Does anyone know anyone else who has got pg between cycles?
Lots of love
Kat x

Dolly

So very sorry to hear your bad news, but glad you are feeling more determined and chipper about the whole thing. Achieving 2 naturals in 9 months are fantastic odds, so I wish you all the best of luck and 3rd time lucky (?) now, what what with hormone levels through the roof from the cycle the chances should be really good. Keep taking the baby aspirin too!

Will look out for you postings and hope everything works out perfectly!

Lots of love

D x

kat,

in my post to dolly I said about being more fertile than usual. however it depends on your circumstance for tmt. My eggs wont get down my tubes so theres no chance for it working for us, but hopefully for dolly who can achieve a pregnancy naturally, it may just go in her favour.......heres hoping for you doll,.and maybe for you too kat!

dawn, when is your scan?

hope evryone else is ok,

lots of love
kathryn
x

Kathryn

There is always hope, it could be caused by a whole host of things, unfortunately on the scan can tell you, lets just hope it is good news!

taking care not to BBQ the embies, with icepacks on while I am outside, and a cool, damp flannel on my tummy when I go to bed, not to mention the fan permanently circulating cool air all night!

Looking forward to the scan, we are still sooo excited about it, so hopefully it will be good news or we will be devastated (got a the symptoms progressing, but you never know).

Will post on Tuesday evening once we have been to the hosp, it is not until 4pm, that is going to be a long day to get through. What time is yours?

How's everyone else? Thinking of you all.

D x

Hello all!

How are you all finding this heat? I can't bear it! I've been in the house for weeks in front of the fan, only going outside when absolutely necessary!

Dawn, all the very best for tomorrow. Are you a possibly triplets girl???!! Not long now before you know!

Kathryn - really really hoping it's good news for you on Thursday.

I've got another whole week before my scan and I'm a little worried because I've got no symptoms whatsoever. Hopefully this is OK?

I've got my driving test tomorrow - and am not very confident. Started having funny dreams, mixing up IVF and driving!! And then back to work on Wednesday. I'm dreading the trains in this heat, and being back in London every day. How are you finding being back at work Dawn?

How's everyone else?? Nicola and Susi - I guess your scans are coming up soon?? All the very best!

Hopefully we'll all move over to the other side very soon

Love to all

Claire x
Claire

I know what you mean about the heat, I hate to complain but I think it is starting to get to everyone now!

I am not (I don't think!!!) a triplet girl, could be a twin girl though, will know this time tomorrow!!!!

Being back at work is great, the time passes so much quicker and takes your mind off the whole IVF thing. My bosses know, and they are absolutely over the moon, keep checking to see if I am feeling OK, it's lovely. One of them had a little girl in March through IVF so knows the score completely - so very fortunate for me, he was at The Lister too!

The trains however haven't been great! On the way home they have been muddled up completely, and last Wednesday it really was like stepping into a sauna, everyone was literally dripping with sweat all the way home - nice!

I think my scan has (luckily) whizzed round, thankfully, can't wait for tomorrow now, DH is wetting himself with excitement, I just hope all is OK.

Don't panic about not having any symptoms, just think back to the 2ww, and some people getting some stuff and others not, doesn't mean a thing does it?! Just as long as we see the hearbeat(s) I will be a very happy lady!

Was talking to my Mum the other day, and I have (all going to plan) only got 6 months left at work, how quickly will that time go!!

Thinking of you on Thursday Kathryn, how are you doing this week, any changes?

Wishing your week to fly by Claire, and looking forward to hearing about your scan.

Susi and Nicola, when are your scans??

Take care everyone

D x

Sorry, was absolutely shattered when I got home last night, and was soundo by 7.30pm!

Scan was absolutely fine, ONE strong heartbeat, so my Mum was wrong!

Really emotional seeing it on screen, it sinks in that little bit more.

Confirmed that I will be 7 weeks on Friday, with the size and everything, so will have another scan in 2.5 weeks time, just to make sure it is developing OK, and then on to the normal 12 weeks etc.

Absolutely over the moon, as you can imagine. We rang Nana (who paid for this cycle) and gave her the good news, she was ecstatic, to say the least!

Got two lovely pictures to put in the album, and have scanned in a couple more to carry around (is that incredibly sad?), Don't care really!

Kathryn, will be thinking of you tomorrow, and everyone else.

May post on the other side when it gets to Friday!

D x
