We did do ICSI, but I'm not sure about what type of procedure you mean by TESE. I'm in the US, and I've noticed that some of the treatment names differ by a letter or so. If your TESE is the same as our TESA (testicular biopsy) then we fortunately didn’t have to go quite to that extreme. We were able to use the PESA, which was just the needle, though my dh still had quite a time with recovery. Actually, my RE wanted us to do the TESA so we would have more sperm for future cycles if need be, but my dh and I decided to take this adventure one cycle at a time. Anyway, with the PESA and ICSI, 8 of the 11 mature eggs fertilized, and tomorrow I’ll know how they made it to day three (tomorrow is the big ET!)<br><br>
