Glad to see everyone is doing well!! Isn't it funny, when we start lupron time drags by, but when you start the stims everything starts happening!!!! Exciting!!

Just wanted to say HI to everyone!!! I am getting soooo excited.. and freaked out at the same time.. lol

IM.. wooohooo on the greeen light.. it will be here before you know it..

Jeck.. I know.. it seems like yesterday... I really did not expect my follies to be this big already...

I did my HCG last night (this morning) it was easy.. SQ so now .... tomorrow...

I will try to check in after but not sure I will feel up to it... and I prob wont know wnything for a few days..

Riley.. Just make sure she NEVR ices a PIO shot... heat for that.. OUCH!!!

Good luck tomorrow Tonia. Did you say you already did a PIO?? If so, how are they? I'm scared because it seems like that would sting going in??

I had been sceduled for u/s on Monday, Thursday, and Tomorrow, but I have been in everday this week [except the 4th]. Monday was day 4 of stims, I had lots of follies, but only 1 was at least 10mm. Wednesday, they just scanned and didn't really say anything. Thursday she said that there is a lot of activity going on especially in my right ovary. I feel so huge down there. Today, she rattled off a whole bunch of measurements and had me write it down for her on a piece of paper. They were anywhere from 23!!! to 10. A lot of 15's and 16's. She did one ovary at a time, and I counted really quickly before I handed the paper back. There were 19 on each ovary--no wonder I was feeling it. The pressure makes it hard to sit a certain way and I think it makes me walk funny. Can anyone else feel them like that?. At 10+ mm each, that is like having almost 20 grapes on each side. I call them marbles, so all my friends ask me how my marbles are all the time!!haha I go back tomorrow morning and she said I'm gonna write the measurements again and we will find out the EC date tomorrow, too. On Wednesday, then downed my Follistim from 75 to 25---hardly anything on the pen---and they downed my Repronex fro 2 vials to 1. Yesterday, I didn't have to take ANY Follistim OR Repronex, just my Lupron this morning!!!!

LM, good luck with your stims--there bark is louder than the bite--not that bad--are you doing Follistim pen? That killed my tummy so I started in the thigha and couldn't feel a thing!

Tonia- I'm getting freaked out too!! Time is flying. I so thought it would be the opposite way around. Hope you're doing well!

Okay-i know i sound stupid-whats the PIO shot? Progestrone?

Amanda.. WOW sounds like you are doing great!!!! I too feel "full" down below.. it hurts sometimes.. and I always feel like I have to pee.. lol (even right after I just go) I am not soo bad today... hummmmm

PIO= Progestrone in oil.. yes.... tell her to warm it next to her body and have DH (or whoever is giving it) to rub the area first and then do the shot and then sit on a heating pad...

I have not done any yet.. (I still have to pick them up at IVP) eeekkksss
But I have a few friends that do them and pass the info.. lol

OH Riley.. duh.. I guss your sister wont do t he PIO.... that is for after the ET... so YOU might be doing them??? not sure.. all RE's are different.. I have to do 17 HPC (PIO) and sups.. YUCK...

Good luck everyone!!! I will let you know how the ER is... YIKES.. I am a little scared of that....

Amanda--You little easter bunny you!! Gosh I remember that full feeling, never could find a comfortable sitting position. Sounds like you will going for ER soon!!

Tonia--WooHoo good luck on your ER, I felt fine after mine, but everyone is different. Wishing you lots of great quality embies!

Rileydee--Have they given your sister a tenitive ER date? Gosh its getting exciting now!!!!!!

LM--good luck with your stims tomorrow!!! Now everything is starting now!!

UPDATE and C/P

I just got back from my ER.. It went well.. I was totally under and felt nothing... Te worst part was wetting the IV in my hand...

He got 12 eggs total.. and thinks we will have 8 or 9 good ones...

I am very very mildly sore now.. mostly just sleepy and a little weak..

and starving.. lol DH went out to get me some food.. so that wont be long...

Thank you all for your continued thoughts and prayers..

Now we just pray for fertalization and healthy babies... I will transfer Tuesday.. but they will call me tomorrow with the fertalization update....

sorry not to post to you all.. I am still a little sleepy..

that is awsome!! Great news on all the eggs and good luck!! I already have the PIO stuff in my IVP pack. They are bad huh? I also the pressaries. Yuck is right.

Jeck- My sisters tentative date for ER is the 15th. She will be going to stay in the town were the clinic is on Tuesday and they will start checking her everyday. I hope it goes quick for her. It is summer, she has already spent time away from her family for me. I am sooo happy she is willing do this for us, but it is a huge sacrafice on her whole family. I can't wait til her part is over. Then Maybe I can relax. HAA! Right!!

Amanda- how are the grapes?

Hope you ladies are all doing great. I'm feeling so freakin emotional today. I just balled my head off last night and I don't really know why. I think it is just all the stress building. Or just the horomones. Who knows. I am feeling a bit discouraged. But, coming on this board has helped already. Just to know you're not alone. I know that sounds corny, but its true. blah blah blah. Talk to yas all later!

Riley... The PIO was not bad at all.. DH did it last night and it hurt less then if he pinched me.. it was easy.... I am also on Heprin so I get to keep poking myself in the tumm 2X a day.. lol (((HUGS))) on the emotions... hang in there.. we are here to listen (read) if you need to vent!!!

Hi everyone - sounds like your stims, ER, ET's and all are going great! I had ET done on 6/29 and had my first pregnancy test today ... BFP!! I can't believe it, I'm so excited. I knew it was good news when I heard the doctor calling, he says levels are so high there's a high likelihood both embies took! I've been really tired - was restless during bedrest the 5 days after ET and now you can hardly get me out of bed! We have a couple more tests to verify results over the next 2 weeks and I'll feel more secure after our 1st sono, and of course as long as we make it through the first trimester, but so far, so good!! Boy are we blessed/lucky that we live in an age where IVF is possible!

Here is our magic formula for painless PIO -- Ice, then Rub, then Heat. Kind of like lifting weights it doesn't hurt until day 2, then it's like a bruise. I've found the higher up on your backside/hip the better, so you don't have the pressure when you sit on it. At least that's what helps for me.

Let me know if any of you need support through your stims and resting time, that's the toughest part!

LM--I'm doing pretty well, thanks for asking!! I had a cold starting Friday and I called and got some drugs and I am glad I did I felt much better the next day. My emotions go from one extreme to the next now that the transfer is getting closer!!

How are the stims going?? I hope they are pumping up some nice eggs!!
