Liz only 3 more sleeps to your official test date. How are you feeling any symptoms at all? Whereabouts in Italy are you going? I went to Venice a couple of years ago it was fantastic.

Nicki its lovely to see you back to your old self full of PMA. Clomid definitely messes with your emotions, mind you so does pregnancy so your DH had better get use to it.

Hope you are managing to stay chilled at work and that you feel better soon, not a good time to feel ill. I love the fact that you have put your due date on, mine is a month earlier 22nd March, not had the date confirmed yet though. I am sending follie dust to you, good luck at your next scan

Lucy good to see you back. I can’t wait for you to follow in my footsteps. That’s great that you having all those tests done, that will help put your mind at rest. I really don’t think the clinics sometimes treat us with the respect we deserve as you say we are paying a lot for treatment, I can’t believe they weren’t going to give you your results over the phone. Glad you stuck up for yourself. It won’t be long at all until you start treatment.

Lucy how did the FSH result go?? When do you get your other results back?? Keeping everything crossed for you and I'm sure they will be the news you wanted to hear. That's encouraging that the consultant has only seen 3 cases in 20 yrs.xxx

Hello to everyone else I have missed

Well Af or BFP is due thursday but having lots of AF type pains since last week - I know this can be a good thing but getting stronger last night (day 12 post iui) and seem just like all other af type pains altho I don't normally feel them like this til a few hours before AF arrives - so I am thinking AF might be on her way a day early

felling quite down about this prospect but hey its not over til the fat lady sings as they say so will try and keep hopeful.

All quiet for me. Had info pack from hospital re counselling and blood tests I have to have for FSH. Think I should have had this in the beggining rather than the end of my waiting list as already been scanned and tested ?! Will ring to check. Shoulder LOADS better. Had follow up and it is mended, just suffer with muscular aches so STILL not driving!!! Getting there so hopefully will next week!!

GAIL GAIL GAIL...what fabulous news i have returned to...woo hoo...I am so excited, pleased, really words don't give me enough ways of telling you how happy i am for you and DH...looking forward to hearing about your scan on the 7th...Hope the dreaded morning sickness aint to bad (and stays that way)...What a fighter that Frostie is, and without meds too...wonderful...it gives us all so much hope! big loving hugs X x X

Big Hi's to MLG Kate and everyone else

We have been away in the motorhome the past week celebrating Adams 3 months at his job..he had his review ( with pay rise) and is being kept on..( thank goodness)...We toured the north west of scotland and the weather is and has been superb for that region. We are still looking for a house ( the barn has deffo been sold to others)...we have looked at loads but none 'feel' right...yet. So if we don't get one soon we will rent for a while and take our time searching. It actually feels okay and i am NOT stressed by this prospect at all. Strange for me cause i am a home buddy. I know the right thing will come along at the right time...have hope and faith. I have got my appointment through for the consultant it's the 22nd Sept. A week after we move so i lwill need to travel back to Glasgow and stay at my mums...It wil be fine. Fingers crosssed they will fund me another cycle as i have not had any extra embies for freezing. Hope to go again in October whatever the outcome of funding. that's what big mortgages are for Adam says... IVF!
So all in all i am doing okay, mainly just tired (and who isn't in this heat) with eye problems of focusing and vertigo, but it's all manageable.

Life could be worse! I am enjoying this NOT working caper...me who hated having any time off too...

Oh and also we have decided to get married next year...we are going away to Canada with 2 friends and getting married on a snow clad mountain7th March 2007...and the best bit we are doing it secretly so no one NOT even family know...You pheonixes ( and our 2 friends ) are the first

there has been so many arguments with family on both sides on who they want to invite. Adam and i can't handle it we just want the bit of paper that says we are married...At the moment we feel that we are anyway. We will tell them before we leave for the hols that we are actually also getting married but they think at thwe moment we have booked a ski/snow boarding holiday

So I will wear a dress on top of my skiing trousers and a suede furry jacket..but the joy of doing it out doors without any razz a ma tazz suits us ...

No stress or anything. MArch 7th is my mum's b'day so a fab day to get hitched. So much happening for you honey at the mo but you are taking it all in your stride so well done you. You are one strong cookie

I'm sorry about the eye problems you're having - I can well imagine how it must be (as I spend my working life dealing with these problems) Is anyone assessing your eyes?? as they may be able to give you something to help (just tell me to but out if I'm being too nosey) Gartnavel hos has a fab dept. xxx

Julie glad the collarbone's finally on the mend!! Shame about the driving tho but at least dh can chauffeur you round all the more. Tee hee! Good luck with the FSH xxx

Well I'm still waiting ...... AF due today but no sign of her yet. However I did a HPT early on last night because I was mega impatient and it was negative. However today is 15 days post natural IUI so I am still waiting. Too scared to do another test. I'm thinking is she just late then or did I test too early. I'm normally mega on time. I can count the times on one hand that AF has arrived late in the last 28 months so I'll hang on til tomorrow and fill you in bfore I head off on hols. Leaving the house at 10 30 am tomorrow morning so will try let you all know what's happening xxx
(PS I'll just post on my test thread tomorrow as won't have time to post here too )

Lucy, Julie - hope the tests are ok. Julie - is the collar bone ok now?...and dare I ask the driving?

At the moment I'm enjoying week one of my six weeks, I have done precisely nothing except watch dodgy tv programmes and read a few books!! I went to see my acupuncturist today and she was telling me about the German protocol. Anyone heard of this? She said its having acupuncture 25mins before ET and 25mins after, apparently the success rate goes up by 40% for those that do it. Does anyone know of anyone that did this and more importantly whether it worked? I go back to my clinic next week to get the drugs and sort out dates etc so I will ask when I'm up there, but just wondered if there was anyone with first hand knowledge.

Jen, how are the wedding plans coming along!!!

ME:Got this damn thraot infection still and heat doing my head in so not really feeling like this IUI will work under the circumstances, DH said i should parhaps canc this cycle til i feel like me, but i am still going ahead, Ive got this far. I am not a quitter, but just to say not feeling very positive!!!

Have another scan today, geez I hope those follies have been good!!! I dont really understand though that after taking this clomid I would have thought that they would be huge!!!
One thing for sure if it doesnt work, wont do clomid again!!! But hey Ive tried it so thats cool.....

They need to be at 16mm today at least..... Had amazing strong ovulation pains for the last few days, so guessing thats a good sign huh??

I'll post ya laters, with whats happening ok, going straight back to work after scan so might not be til lots later today ok.....

I had 2 lovely juicy follicles, and mega thick lining, all looking good, testing for the LH now in Urine, have a feeling it'll happen 2moro!!!!

As for me I have my 1st clinic appt on 29 August. (Can someone add me on the list as no time......x). Basically 80 couples getting told what to expect etc ect and hopefully tmt will start in 6/8 wks from then. So chuffed evrything is finally moving!!!
