Hi everyone!
My name is Kery I am a newie to IVF. Just wondering how those of you with children and working coped doing ivf, is it possable? I have a child (9yrs) from a previous relationship and found that the tracking tests before ivf was hard (dragging a child early hours of the morning across town for blood tests). I realise that ivf is going to be more demanding time wise, any suggestions?
I think I have had to go to the clinic around 15-20 times during the ivf treatment and tomorrow will be the third time since the BFP!
Maybe you could try and schedule your appointments during late morning when your child is at school?? There are some test they could go with you for if it isn't possible but all the scans were internal which wouldn't be very nice for a 9 year old to see!
For egg collection maybe they could have a sleep over at a friends or a relative. That appointment was the longest - even I was bored waiting around the hospital!
Best of luck
Jo

Yea will look into trying to work it around school hours. We have just moved country in the last few months so I don't have any family or friends that I know here at this stage. My partner works away in the mines so is not home much. I will really have to weigh up if it is going to just be too much at this stage. Thanks for the info on how many times you had to visit the hospital.
