Hi Lisa P

My instructions from clinic were Buserelin injections room temp the others in fridge. I think there are different types of drugs used for IVF depending on the person so if your unsure give your clinic a call to put your mind at rest.

Good luck.

Vicki B
waiting for AF ICSI No 1

[Edited by vickib on 22-Sep-03 01:11]
Hi Lisa,

I wasn't told to keep any of my drugs in the fridge!!! I know it says on the information booklet that they should be. I'm quite sure though that they are not kept at the pharmacy in the fridge so I suppose it defeats the whole object.

Also you may not always be at home by your fridge when you do the injections, especially if its the pen.

I really don't think it can be that important unless you live in the middle of the desert - room temp will do.

But ring your hosp just to put your mind at ease and then you know you're doing the right thing.

LOL Kate xxx ICSI Ist try test wed!!
Hi,
The only drugs I was told to keep in the fridge was my pregnyl - late night injection prior to ec! Which of course I hadn't done so ended up having to buy more when we were down in Nottingham for treatment!
All other drugs are just kept at room temp - the patient information lealet will give you info on correct storage.
Di
