july ann - I've spied you being negative!!! Naughty girl. Come on keep going, there is not long left, try and keep positive. I feel the same too. If you ask Di, she'll tell you she felt the same this time as she did on the 9 other goes, but she is pg!! Go on the other board and ask the girls on there, they'll tell you they felt the same too. Try not to get upset, not when you are so close to test date. Besides you can't do anything to change what will happen, so just try and enjoy the relaxing few days. Put your feet up today, dont' work, just watch daytime tv or afternoon movies!

Big hugs coming your way.
nikola.x

Hi Girls - just want to join in and say best of luck for your test days around 25th September. I hope you all have good results and am keeping it all crossed for you.

July Ann - come on girl, don't make me have to get out those birch twigs. I was also convinced my second ICSI had not worked as I felt EXACTLY the same as the first time when it failed - I was totally ready for the negative and you could have knocked me down with a feather when that line appeared !! So, keep an open mind and I wish you all the luck in the world.

Lots of Love - Jo. XXXX

Hi All,

I am also a 25ther, but am feeling o.k today. Di's news has really lifted me and I have managed to reduce my boob poking to about once an hour!!

July Ann, I know it is your anniversary on 25th. Why don't you wait until the 26th as it could well be that you get a -ve because you have tested early, so then don't enjoy your anniversary. I have also read posts from girls who have had -ve HPT, and +ve blood tests, followed by more -ve HPT. I have even read stories of girls who have been pregnant and never test +ve!!

Why don't you by some non alcoholic "grown up" drink, I can recommend Aime which they sell in Tesco's and Sainsbury's and treat yourself to some nice food and try to pretend that nothing has happened and try to enjoy your anniversary. I know chocolate is a no no, but there must be other naughty food you like!!

I think you are putting a lot of pressure on yourself by making your anniversary day your test day. I know it would be wonderful to get a +ve on that day, but if you don't won't it spoil your anniversary day in years to come? It will be just as wonderful to get a +ve on the 26th. So DON'T DO IT!!!!!

Any way, finished preaching, sorry girls, and am off to have a cup of typhoo decaffinated tea, which tastes just like the real thing. Even my mum was impressed.

Speak to you soon,

Love

Karen
xx

Karen, I'm sat here laughing at July Ann starting to have palpitations at the thought of waiting a day longer than she needs to. She would have tested last week if we'd let her!! I agree with you, she should wait until Friday. I can recommend Shloer (cranberry, rasberry and white grape flavour!) or Kaliber - alchohol free beer, tastes just the same to me! I don't suppose a glass of normal wine would hurt either, might calm her down!!!

July Ann, I'm more nervous/excited about your result than I am about my own!!

Right girls, am off to inflict pain upon myself and have all my bits waxed. I know I should wait until after the 2ww but the girl I see is on holiday, and I really think I've waited long enough. dh thinks I've started to resemble the dogs!! CHarming.

Be good all of you whilst I am out (especially you, july ann, we are all watching!!)

love nikola.xx

hello I'm back and de-fluffed! I also had a relaxing pedicure whilst I was at it - very nice. I have lovely french polished toes now!

fiona - thank you for your lovely message and thinking of me. You must have posted at exactly the same time as my earlier message! Helen S texts me daily from her holiday to check up on me. I think she is going to be more disappointed than me (if that is possible!) if it doesn't work! I have my care brochure ready just in case!!

sarah - elderflower shloer tastes like my great aunts toilet water she used to have! Yuk! Now before you all start, I don't mean the loo water in the toilet, I mean the special bottles of water they used to keep (don't know what for!), but they always had bottles of lavendar and elderflower water.....maybe my great aunts are to blame for my wierdoness!

july ann - in a very selfish way I'm glad you are like you are because its totally taken my mind of my own tmt. I've never for one minute thought mine was going to work, and having you to think about has given me something to worry about! I'm glad you are coming round to our way of thinking!!!

Off to find my Percy Pigs need some comfort after my very very painful waxing!!

love nikola.xx
No July Ann I most certainly did NOT test early and anyone who does will be severely frowned upon. Mind you, what's all this talk about waiting til the day AFTER??????? Now I thought I had willpower waiting til the actual day but that's just sadism!!

Baby is fine (15 wks this week) thankyou so much for asking. We will both jump for joy I promise you if there's a +++++++ for you. Stay calm as poss and the 25th will be here in no time. I honestly felt exactly the same when it worked as when it didnt.

Lots of love & good luck to everyone testing. Jo. XX
