New Here - Donor Sperm questions

Hi. My husband (35) and I (37) are at the beginning stages of our IF problems. My husband has done 2 sperm analysis resulting in zero sperm and last month had a testicular biopsy & attempted sperm extraction but unfortunately no sperm was found. We are being treated at the Lister Clinic in London and are now discussing using donor sperm. This is all very new to us and I was looking for people to talk to who are also going through this. you've found them!! HI - my dh had mumps has has no sperm. We had unsuccessful ICSI with TESE in June - . Will I think try again in Jan but not hopeful. So we too are considering donor - I would suggest you look at message for Caz too see all my (and Becky and Jen and Tanyas) thoughts. You are not alone! Keep in touch. We should start a special thread! xx

Hi there Kaz Just to say hi. I've just started my first iui treatment with donor sperm. Had lots of discussions and thoughts about the whole thing but I'm lucky in that my husband has got a daughter already by diui and I can see how much they both love eachother and that has made the decision to have donor sperm a lot easier for me. I have wrote a bit more about it on a previous thread - have a look. If you want to chat some more would be great too hear from you. Take care Lisa x
