4w6d Question

Post by tonya01 »

Hi there - had my first blood test on 4w1d (HCG of 420) and my second blood test is schedule for tomorrow (5w0d). The only symptoms I have had thus far is nausea after eating (mostly after a big meal) and sore breasts. I have had a chemical pg and a blighted ovum in the last year and am looking for any advice as to how to keep this pregnancy.

I am so excited that I got the BFP - now how to I keep it?

Thanks!
Tonya

Congrats Tonya ~ all you can do is rest and take it easy. It looks like you have very strong numbers which I hear is a good sign of a healthy pregnancy.

Take care!

Just got my second beta - went from 420 (10dpt) to 2,740 (16dpt) - does this seem about right? Every website gives me a little bit different info...what were your numbers on that day?

Hi Tonya

Congratulations on your BFP. How many embryos did you transfer?? Your numbers sound fab and although we are all different, I wouldn't be surprised if there was more than one in there! My first beta was at 16dpt and they were 314.

Most pregnancy symptoms don't start until around week 6 although some people don't get any at all. Make the most of feeling ok because you never know, if there are multiples in there you could be telling a different story with your sickness in a few weeks!

Keep us updated

We transferred two - and silly as this sounds, I would be just fine with two. Have the first ultrasound on Thursday (10/12/06) and would love to finally make it past that milestone :D It is going to be a very long week - but I am so very hopeful!
