M'BA-I am so jealous of you! We had our EC and Et on the same days, but my clinic is making me wait until the 27th for the test! They said that they didn't have anyone scheduled to come in on the 23rd (the original day they had planned). I'm not sure about fri. the 24th...It's just such a long time to wait!

Jovigal--I had 16 follicles, 7 eggs, 4 fertilized and 3 survived! I was a bit disappointed with the 7 eggs especially since I had 16 follies. I was really hoping to have some to freeze. I almost had my cycle cancelled because I stimmed real slow! When is your retrieval?

Mia: AAAHHHH man! I logged on hoping for great news from you. To answer your question, they did stop the PIO. I feel guilty, I apologize if my little disclosure re: D7 PGT has made your 2ww harder . Maybe i should have kept that to myself. At least your boobs are still sore...there is still hope . I am still sending the baby dust your way!

Noodle and others: we have been married 12 years, and were recently at my dh grandfathers funeral. I was stimming like crazy(IVF #2), just a few days before my ER...and 2 elderly great aunts of his stopped to chat. They were horrified that we had been married so long and no kids (we are LDS and everyone has kids early!). I got all sorts of interesting (unsolicited) advice from them...(1) we should go on a vacation because people get preg when on vacation (this tells you how little they know us...we travel constantly---over last 12 months have spent 4 overseas in africa, china, middle east, etc) (2) we should check out these new "fertility specialist" doctors they have now (Hmmm....i should look into that!). (3) I should stop working (i stopped practicing med 2 yrs ago because it was so stressful and thought that was why i wasn't preg.) Some people!!!

Keeping the faith (or at least doing much better than this am )

wannababy - 16 follies is a great number. I only have 1 ovary so I'll do good to get half that number.
My EC is scheduled for Tuesday the 21st. I'm nervous but really anxious to get some embies in me... (I would love to have twins by the way---that freaks DH out. )

Just not sure what to feel right now. My mind is numb, my body not my own. Trying to just make stay positive, and take one hour at a time. All and all can;t complain, but of course like all of you, dying for the pregnancy test day to be here. Nothing I do will make it come faster, so trying to focus on anything else I possibly can.

I am trying to remember all the wonderful blessings I do have in my life already.

M'BA - The 2ww is torture. My last 2ww, I read alot and that seemed to help alot. Of course, I ended up reading alot on infertility or books about couples going through IVF. It's hard to get it off your mind ain't it... (we say ain't here in TN

sassynlv, don't worry, I had already suspected this. I knew something was weird last cycle. I was telling others awhile ago that if they stopped my PIOs after my 3rd BT this time, I was probably going to be neg.
Your funny family story made me laugh. Everyone seems to have some family member(s) like that. I wish I could vacation like you do, wow! You must have a great life. I'm sure going to need one after PGtest day. The only thing is money. We don't even have the money to do another cycle, let alone travel. There is a chance that we can get our health Ins. to pay, if the RE will write a letter saying that IVF is medical necessity. I hope they will, looks like I'm really going to need it.

Oh girls - everyone is so glum, I sat down and had a wee cry after reading the posts.

Kelly - that is devestating news, I am so sorry. I understand your thoughts about egg quality, you so need a reason why this happens and to be told everything is okay but still a BFN is unfair.

Mia - you poor sausage - I would go crazy if they told me to change my meds but wouldnt give me a good reason why. The last thing you should do though is beat yourself up over chocolate.

MBA - you hang in there too.

Kristin - I think your Dad had the best advice of the day- that really made sense for me, and I am going to try and remember it. Hmm chant it - maybe it will give me something to do

Mia, I know it's hard, but try not to interpret too much, maybe its just their protocol as some other girls said, they don't do the same everywhere, you saw how all of us were on very diferent protocols for stims and all that, so hang in there, Sunday is almost here!!, I'll be thinking about you and sending you lots of baby dust!!!!

I am feeling a little bit more of hope today, I am still having some of the AF like cramps, but no AF so far thank god, and today I am feeling my boobs a little bit more sore, I hope it is not just me trying to find a symptom... , but well, we'll see what are the resutls on Monday......agghhhhh, it seems soooo far awayyyy!!!!!!

Good luck to the girls testing tommorrow!!! It's hard to see people coming back with BFN. It is emotionally and financially draining. What I told my best friend when she was going through IVF was that she was meant to be a mom and it would happen...and it did for her!! Keep the faith!!

Girls, I am still trembling, but you won't believe what just happened, I went and did another HPT, and I have a very faint line for BFP....I don't know what to think, I don't want think I am pregnant and then I am not, I don't know, I am in shock right now. It can't be the shot because the other day it was negative, not even a faint line........AAAAAAAHHHHHHHH (THAT IS A SCREAM)..........
