Hello all I'm back...........

Post by Dagny »

Girls I am sorry I haven't been in contact recently but I have been in hospital for the last week with severe dehydration and sickness. I have had 'Hypo Emmesis'. Even before my PG test I was having a sh*t time with terrible runs and pains. Then, when we should have been celebrating and feeling elated from a +ve result I was so ill and got rushed into hospital and have just been released. I was so sick and bloated and from reading Nikolas posts it's a good thing but now I dont feel sick at all and now I am really paranoid we have lost our babes. We have the scan on Tuesday and I am sooooo bloody scared.
Has anyone else had bad sickness and then no sickness? I still feel exhausted but I don't feel pregnant. My boobs don't hurt at all - they never have but then again they are only just an A cup!!
I think I am going mad with worry and can think of nothing else. This 2WW is worse than the last one.

Nikola I am so happy for you - Twins, wow what a result. All week I was thinking we could be having twins as I was so ill but now I am not so sure.

Sorry for the -ve post but I am in a crap place at the mo and need to be pulled out. I wish I was feeling sick.... I never thought I would hear myself say that!!

Love to you all Dagny xxxx

Oh Dagny, poor you!

I take it the hospital didn't do a scan or anything early whilst you were in having tmt. I'm sure they've told you to try and keep drinking lots of water. I've been desperately trying to keep fluid down for fear of dehydration - its not easy is it!

Now I hope this will make you feel better, there are days when I feel very sick and then there are days when I forget I'm pg and feel quite normal! As for my boobs they are huge (but to be fair they already were - not bragging just stating facts!!!) but they don't hurt as much now as they did before. Try not to worry!!

I KNOW how awful this 2ww is (it felt like the longest two weeks of my life!), but the more you worry the worse it is for your baby/ies! Try to get as much rest (little cat naps if poss during the day), drink lots of fluid and stay calm - easier said than done, I know.

You only need to get through this weekend and then Tuesday will be here and your scan will reveal all and I'm sure you'll start to relax and feel better.

Take it easy lovely!

love nikola.xx

Dagny

Hi! Good to have you back! Sorry you have been so poorly, but try to STOP worrying(easier said than done).
If you read some of the other girls that got a +, they often dont start feeling sick until later into their pregnancy, and I am sure that your sickness was more to do with your illness than being pg.
If you read my other post you will see I dont live that far away from you so watch out I will be round to calm you down if you dont stop all that worrying!
You take good care of yourself, have a restful weekend, and I look forward to seeing your news on tues!!!

Sue xx

Nikola and Sue

Thanks so much for your replies, I feel a bit less paranoid I think. I will only be able to relax a bit after Tuesday.

My Doc did do lots of scans during my stay but it was way to early to see anything she said. She also wouldn't do an HCG test which I asked her to do. She said it would't make a difference as I was pregnant and thats all they needed to know. Everyone else seems to have a blood test it seems.
I have also got liver function problems so I feel like a right disaster area.
Where abouts do you live Sue?

Love Paranoid Dagny xx

Hi

Hope you are feeling better today. Tues will be here soon enough and you will get the reasurance you need and everything will be fine.

Your Doc sounds a right meany not doing a blood test, still I guess each place is different and has their own rules! Mine seems to like doing them but probably so they can charge us another £50!!

I live in East Grinstead, so not that far away, Kat put in another post that she is in Burgess Hill! We should all get together at some point, bet we are nothing like we imagine each other to look like!

Keep me updated, take it easy and try not to worry!

Sue xx
