ICSI success with SEVERE mf issues anyone?

Just wanted to know if there was anyone out there that had a successful pregnancy by doing ICSI for severe MF issues.

DH's mophology is 3% and his motility is practically 0 but his counts range between 7mil to 25mil.

I've had 2 failed ICSI cycles and going for attempt #3 in Jan

Just wanted to know if I'm crazy to lose hope......

Don't lose hope!! Remember it only takes 1 sperm and 1 egg!!! Normally people find success by their third ICSI attempt the reason being is you may not react to the drug protocol the first time which is why they fine tune it each time....I had two failures and got pregnant on my third IVF - we have MF but our morphology is better but all that means is that they have a little more good sperm to work with - but they only need one primo sperm!

Rhonda,

The best advice I can give is this....Hang in there and keep your head high - Do everything in your power to keep your body healthy! Meaning at the start of my cycle I treated my eggs and nurtured them from the start of my cycle - I didn't have any alcohol (not even a glass of wine) and I ate healthy treating my body as if I was pregnant....I did this on my third attempt and I would like to think it made a difference, it also helped condition me for pregnancy!!! Stay positive and no that it "CAN" happen for you and you are young! Good luck - sending lots of positive vibes and baby dust your way for your next cycle!

Jamato - I'm holding onto your words and trying on a new game face for my cycle

I have to believe in my heart that it'll work one day.

I was overstimulated on both my cycles so they think that also led to the poor embie quality - i've only got 1 ovary and first cycle I produced 37 follies (they thought I won't get more than

and second cycle I got 27 - still a lot for one ovary - so jan cycle they're dropping my dose some more hoping that i won't get more than 15 follies.......hope my 1 overproducing ovary behaves next time!!
