Smear tests whilst undergoing treatment??

Could I just ask your thoughts on this......... I have been called for my smear test. I asked the clinic and they said that I should ask the nurse at the surgery. I did and at that point I was just sniffing. I'm just worried about it. Do you think it'll upset things? (just to remind you, I'm injecting now and am due for my 8 day scan on thursday) I did book the smear but am now worrying.......... any thoughts most appreciated Love lisa x

Hi Lisa P I would call your clinic back and ask them for advice explaining where you are in your treatment and ask for their professional opinion. I don't think it will upset anything as you are stimming at the moment, but you may be tender. I am having a cervial asessment on friday to make sure I will be OK for ET. What the clinic intends to do is a dummy run of the ET and the doctor describe this to be similar to a smear. I will be on day five of stimming when I have this test. Hope this helps Love Vicki B XX

Lisa I would ask your clinic,your gp and the nurse who will do the test, then you would have 3 proffesional opinions (hopefully)when is your test/how far will you be with treatment then? Is this your 3 year appointment? Can you have a smear when you are pregnant? Take care OCB Lisa x
