Hi Patie,
Wow...that's exciting. Well, or nerve wracking, depending on how you're feeling about it I guess. My fingers are very crossed for you. Sounds really good, but it also sounds like you ahve a 'history' that led them to thinking all five should be transferred. Our Dr. wouldn't let us transfer more than 3 for our last cycle, but it failed and he is now willing to tranfer whatever survives from our next thaw of 4 blasts and 6 3-days. We had a 50% survival rate last time.

In response to your question about number of eggs, our Dr. retrieved 49 eggs during my transfer. We froze 11 grade A 3-days, and 4 grade A Blasts. Transferred one blast which implanted, but didn't take (a drag as it took us two extra weeks to get everything out of me, then we were into the clinic's winter holiday, so I had to wait 3 MONTHS! for next transfer). We just did a transfer of 2-8celled 3 day, 1-7celled 3 day, and three 2/8 3-day. BFN came in yesterday. :(

Somehow reading your post got me excited again. I am hopeful for you - sounds good.

hang in there!

Hi Kswan

I am sorry for the delay in replying!!! and I am so sorry for the BFN!!!

Hopefully next time it'd work...just try not to think about it (i know its impossible)...but i usually go on a shopping spree and have the biggest lunch ever with lots of comforting desserts...

I know its not easy...i've been there...and i am honestly so scared of Monday...i am trying to be optimistic but those hormones are messing my sanity...anyway...

Best of luck for u! eventually we will get there!!!
Hugs

Hi Patie,
Wow, you are a veteran, what courage you have! I can imagine these next couple of days are hard!!! Are you eating lots of desserts? Is it working? How are you handling things?
