Afraid to Discard Meds

Post by jennifer1112 »

So I am officially 28 weeks pregnant today. I was one of the lucky few who was able to obtain meds through insurance for my IVF. I have some left and it is in my fridge, but I'm afraid to throw/give them away. I feel like it will jinx me and something bad will happen. Am I being silly? I guess it can't hurt to just leave them in there, but I feel bad because there are so many women out there with no insurance coverage for ivf.

just leave them in the fridge for now. Just take care of yourself and your needs at this special time.

best wishes

Jennifer1112, congratulations! Do not worry about wanting to keep your meds. Whether or not you paid cash for them , you still paid for them, whether it be by way of working at your job, the stress of the whole ordeal or other circumstances. Where there is a will there is a way for everyone, do not try to carry the burden or guilt of your pregnancy (it can't be good for the baby). So once again congrats and keep them until they expire, you may have a family member or close friend you will want to gve them to, if you do not use them again before the expiration date.

Regards,
Denise
