hi girls, just to let you know I might not post so much, as things are getting me down, I need to take time out!!
I have been so sad and thats not like me, really it's not!!!
I think I spend too much thinking IVF 24/7. It's not good for me!!!
So instead of rushing home from work and logging on, I will be chilling out!! I sit at a PC all day at work and then sometimes all night!!!

I really love you guys, and you've helped me so much, I will post again, but please let me get my head back!! x x

Good luck, and tonz baby dust to everyone!!! x x x

Hi Ladies,
Well we have been busy, didn't have time to really check in last week after posting my dates, nice to see all these buddies we have,
Thanks for message Charlie78 and Jovigal.
Just wondered with ICSI and short protocl if you had any advice, don't really understand what drugs i will be doing as the nurse said she would go threw everything when i start, but just find it strange that it only lasts 2 weeks, on my first go it took nearly eight/nine weeks in total with downregging etc.
A little apprehensive and DH down at the mo too about things, doesn't help i suppose that my best friend has just given birth to a beautiful girl and we both came out of hospital friday night and felt very down, really happy for her as my best friend, but just want that to be us, i know you know what i mean.
Anyway hears to us all the next few months, fingers crossed and lots of baby dust for each and evryone of you xx

Hey, how is everyone doing? Bumping us back up to the top, dont' want to see us go to the second page. I'll be starting my IVF cycle in about 19 days if AF cooperates. How many of you are doing a short protocal cycle this time? Emmaobrian, I just noticed in your post that you will be doing the short cycle. The best part is you get to skip the downreggin which can get rough.

Evening ladies!

Well I went for my baseline scan and blood test on Monday, they were happy with my lining and my E2 levels and have said that I don't have to wait for AF before I start. I was a bit surprised really but they said it made no difference. I have now started estrodial and have my next scan on Friday 23rd March. All being well if I grow a nice comfy lining for my embies and they make the big defrost I should have FET either 26th or 27th. I'm finding it hard to get excited, but hey ho - who knows!

Karia - sending you an AF jiggy dance!
Jovigal - shaking my ass for your AF too!

Emmaobrien - it will be you soon that will be able to show off your beautiful baby LOL

Hope everyone is well!

Thought I would check in and say hello!

Charlie, good news on your first scan - that's so exciting, the rest of the month will go by really quickly and we'll all have our fingers crossed for you. I think you must be the first on this thread to have the transfer so we're all behind you (in every sense!).

Jovigal, I'm on the short cycle too. I was the same last time so have no experience with the down regging side of things. I'm on Follistim to start with then ganirelx and microdose are added. All being well I'll be ready for the EC somewhere between 1st and 5th April.

Nicki, if you're out there, take care. We miss our stars and the energy you bring but I totally understand where you are coming from. This is one roller coaster which is very tough to get off.

Ok, must stop looking like I'm working really hard and actually do some work instead!

Take care all X

Hello ladies,

Have had my hands full with this remodeling finishing up and do not seem to have the right mind set for IVF. Have been trying to not feel stressed that I am stressed and in general an emotional basket case. I'm waiting for AF and actually hope it comes late so the remodeling is more finished ( ie house not full of people drilling/hammering and making life a dustbowl.) Am considering going back to work next week. Hoping I don't have too many people stairing at me uncomfotably and wondering what to say. Small work place where everyone knows everything about everybody. At least noone will ask me how old my baby is. That one always gets me

Charlie - huge congrats on starting us off! I didn't wait for AF on my last cycle either. Sending you wonderful follie vibes. (Your post made me cry - thank you for such loving words. I have to believe I will hold her again and we all will have our little ones with us after this exhausting roller-coaster). Fingers crossed for a great scan.

Rebecca - I hope the northwest is treating you well. I'm looking forward to my vicarious cake with you :D

Karia - Having my dogs do a AF jiggy for you (they do it better than me) Never have quite figured out what a jiggy is, but this site definately states it gets AF going, and with all the moves my dogs make, I'm sure there's a very good jiggy in there somewhere.

Jovigirl - I'm doing a short cycle for the first time. Last 2 I down-regged with BCP and had a Jekyl/Hyde experience per dh. Did you notice a difference with short vs long in your response. I shouold be starting in 1-2 weeks pending AF with Follistim and then Antagon. What's your meds.

emma - Absolutely understand about the friend having the baby and the mixed feelings. Every friend I started "trying" with already has a baby and a few that never considered it 3 years ago are home with theirs as well. It is really rough and i have a babyshower invite in 2 weeks...not sure yet if I'll go. We have to believe we will be holding our little ones soon. 2 weeks sounds so quick to me also. I'm used to down-regging first as well. I'm really hoping this short protocol works out better. I've been reading very promising studies about better response with no down-regging. I did ICSI with all my IVFs as well due to so few eggs and no fertilization at first go.

Nikola - sending you great vibes and take it as easy as you need. :)

Baby dust to all for our April cycle. What better time than spring to get pregnant :D

xoxo

Hi everyone,
Hope everyone is well and keeping healthy for what we have coming up.
Just wondering is anyone using the nasal spray(Synarel) this cycle or has anyone used it in the pass.
Does anyone know any info on side effects or general symptoms that people may have come across, would be great to know a little about it?
Thankyou and thinking of you all.

firstly thank you all for jigging it worked she showed her ugly head this morning so hope to start really soon as for synarl i have used it on my last two treatments and will be using it on this on for me it makes me a little bit snappy (hubby would disagree) a few flushes and night sweats it sounds a lot worse than it is and you will be OK with it
