Hi Girls,

A lovely topic for a Sunday morning - I have had really bad constipation since a couple of days after ET. AF has now arrived so I know I am not pg. I have been taking Senacott but to no avail. Has anybody else suffered this? I don't know whether it is to do with the pesseries as I was using them rectally although I didn't suffere with it on my first cycle.

Thanks

Julie xx
Hi,
i had really bad constipation after EC, i thought i was going to burst! I took a drink of FYBOGEL just before bed and that seems to get things moving in the night. Also, i always have a glass of pure juice in the morning. Hope things get moving soon.
helen

Don't apologise, that's what we're here for!

I'm vegetarian and never suffer from it so you could try a couple of meat-free meals with chickpeas or lentils instead. Chickpea and tomato curry is an amazing combo, served with brown rice should help, or go the the local Indian and have channa masala (chickpeas) and/or daal (lentils). It could also also be water based, so maybe an extra couple of glasses might help and/or eating dates. Lastly, it could be tension-related so a massage, with a anti-clockwise stomach massage thrown in, couldn't do any harm. I hope one of these helps.

Good luck and so sorry to hear this round didn't work out.
love
Debra.
