JesJes, You have absolutely nothing to worry about and if you do pee, oh well! (I did and gues what, we are now pregnant), so in the whole scheme of things a little pee was worth it!

The process itself was not painful, it is going to be the same as when your doctor did the practice run. It takes about 10-15 minutes and is over before you know it.

Hugs and good luck!

Hi there.

The ET is a walk in the park, you've already been through the most difficult part. It isn't painfull, just a little uncomfortable and it's only a few minutes. You will be way to exited to even notice what's going on!!
Slight cramping is normal after words. You will be just fine.

Good luck!!!!

Please don't worry. Like the other ladies said its easy. Also, the first time I had ET I had a full bladder and was quite uncomfortable. The second time, they said have a "half-full" bladder (goodness knows how you measure that!) but it was a lot more comfortable and I didn't feel like my bladder was bursting!

Good luck

I drank 500ml (1/2 litre) of water slowly starting 1 hour before the scheduled ET and it was perfect and not uncomfortable. I always thought it was a little like a smear and it doesn't hurt at all.

Best of Luck for Thursday.

Thanks girls for all your help! My office does not do practice runs so I have no idea what to expect. I guess drinking the water slowly and gradually seems to be the key!!!

Thanks again!
Jessica

Jesjes

Go with a full bladder and then let some out just before ET. Practice doing that before hand! If it is too full it is so uncomfortable!
Good luck sweetie

Jessica - I totally did what Charlie said last time and I got a BFP. Just empty "half-way" before your transfer. It worked for me really well. I also take a Valium before hand and found the higher dose they gave me for the second transfer really helped. It isn't bad at all and you'll be so happy getting your babies back.
