I am so sorry about your IVF cycle. It sounds like everything went perfectly so hopefully next time you will get your positive. I don't blame you for wanting to take a break though. All of this kills us emotionally and mentally.
I had my ist IVF consultation and start my Luron injevtions on 4/17. I am very scared of failing but excited too. They found while I was there that I have PCO. They don't think that I have PCOS, but my ovaries are definately polycystic. This concerns me but they told me not to worry because this doesn't change anything. I don't know how my doctor and NP didn't pick this up through all of my IUI's and my laparoscopy. Do you know anything about PCO/PCOS?

I am so excited for you to start your IVF. It is a pretty exciting time despite the scariness of finding out the end result. But stay positive through all this and you will get that long awaited BFP that you so deserve. Let me know how you're progressing ....I don't know much about PCOS but I have heard that you respond well to the meds and could actually get OHSS if they hyperstimulate you. Just make sure you drink lots of water while you're stimming. I'm sure your clinic will keep close tabs on you during the stims phase. I had bld work and U/S's every other day. I'm so so happy for you. I hope this is it!!!! I'm still a little leary of starting back but one day I will get there. Right now, I'm in the process of adopting a puppy. I need a little joy in my life

Thank you so much for your positive encouragement. I am very nervous and very excited too, as you know. I got my numbers the other day and my FSH was 5.1 and my estradiol was 110. They said that both were good numbers but from what I have read the estradiol seems a little high. What do you think?
I am so happy for you that you are geeting a puppy. I have 3 of them and let me tell you they are WONDERFUL therapy and I consider them my babies and they always will be. What kind will you be getting?
I just want you to know that you are in my thoughts and whatever you do, don't give up because this will work for you and I. Just think how special it will be for all of us because we actually had to work for it.Let me know about your puppy.

Hi Cori...how are you? I haven't been on the message boards these last few weeks although I did join the May/June thread recently. I thought I saw your name on the April thread once. Are you in the middle of the ivf cycle? The best of luck to you and I hope this is it for you. What we go through will be all worth it in the end.
I'm feeling better now and am back on my feet after my bfn. I'm back to enjoying life without the stress of ivf for now. Although, I am doing an FET cycle in June. I thought I'll give it another try before I get too old. I think this one won't be as stressful mentally and physically since there's a lot less drugs to inject. Best wishes again and lots of sticky baby dust your way. Which part of the cycle are you now and when's your transfer?

It is so nice to hear from you. I am happy that you are back in the ballgame in June. NEVER give up hope. I will be hoping and praying for you, as always.
I just had retrieval on Monday. Things did not go as planned. I did have five follicles that were perfect as my RE says (that was on Friday). They had me wait until Monday for the retrieval. I expressed my concern over the fact that maybe I would ovulate before hand. They said that was virtually impossible because of the Lupron. Well..I went in on Monday and i sis already ovulate. They told me that this was highly unusual and happens maybe once a year. The good news is that they did manage to get one egg and it did fertilize. Personally, I think that it is an absolute miracle. I am set for transfer on Thursday. I just have to hope that another miracle happens. Please wish me luck and keep in touch. I am looking forward to hearing about a big positive soon from you.
