Hello girls, so much going on lately, this board rocks!!!!

Jes Jes.....congrats on that very strong BFP!!!!, that is so great, only 2 weeks until your scan (I guess those 2 weeks are even worse than the 2ww  ), enjoy the next 9 months!!!!!

BWHD....that is a great fert report, 2 out of 3 fertilized is great!!, good luck tomorrow with ET, will be thinking about you!!!!!

Vlada....I hope "SuperCipro" can get rid of the Mycoplasma  , how did it go with the nurse and mixing Menopur with Antagon?, good luck with that!!!!

Susan.....I am not doing a natural cycle, I am on estrogen patches and lupron now, and I will be starting PIO (ouch! ) this weekend probably. I am sorry to hear about your dad, I hope he gets better and you can give him the great surprise!!!

JackieG....way to go on the EC!!, 12 eggies is a great number!!!, keep us posted on the fert report!!!, when is ET??

Sher....I am very sorry about your results, I know it is very hard, but it is great that you are already looking forward for the next, that is a great attitude!!!, I wish you the best for your next cycle!!!.

Jovigal.....it is so great to see you back here on the boards, I haven't heard from you in a while, I was very happy to see that you are moving forward in a new cycle, wish you the best!!!!!!, when is your ET??

Donna, Dayla, Susan and all the 2ww'ers, how are you guys doing?, any HPT addictions yet?... , thinking of you all and sending tons of sticky baby dust your way!!!

About me, I am on 3 estrogen patches now, I am going to be on 4 tomorrow, so the day is finally approaching!!. This Saturday I go to the clinic for scan and bw to make sure everything is ok, and if it is then ET will be next Thursday  , I cannot believe we are almost there, have been waiting several months now for this cycle, so I still cannot believe it!!!.
Have you girls told many people about your cycle?, on my last cycle in November I told everybody (really everybody!!), and when we had the m/c it was so much pressure that I decided to go the other way now and not tell anybody (not even my parents, I feel a bit bad about that.....), maybe I am being too extremist, what are you guys doing about it?...

Sorry for all those I missed......

Donna stay away from HPT they are evil!!!!!! Stay strong we will get there. still very strong AF pains for me and feel yuk. We have only a few more days to get through however it does seem to get worse as the days go on. We just need to fill our day with things that keep our minds occupied.

Vicky hope the scan goes well on sat. How is the mood??????

The mood is good now, but 2 weeks ago when I was only on Lupron, man, I was ready to kill someone!!!, I guess nobody wanted to talk to me at that time, I would "bark" at anyone that would speak to me  .....but now I am back to normal

How are you managing to get distracted in your 2ww?

And mine is a short one as well as i had blasts so it is only 9 days!!!!!! I test 14 days EC which i think is very quick :o :o so that is keeping me away from HPT   . i am spending most of the day reading and watch tv an dbeing on here. Susan......it is only 3 days to go!!, I am so proud of you for not caving into the HPT's, I want to do the same thing, not sure if I will be so strong, I am soooooooo impatient!! . Yes I will be working on my 2ww, so hopefully that will help not to be so anxious (yeah right!!! ). What do you mean that you have been signed off of work due to enviromental issues, what do you do?.....

Vicky i work in a psychiatric ward and at the moment there are a few challenging patients. They think it is best for me not to be there and when i go back i will only be on light duties.

Am I the only one that thinks about my IVF all day? I can't stop thinking about things. Yesterday my cramping was a little bit more. I felt sick enough that I went home early from work.

This is a rollercoaster.....

What do you all do for fun to get your mind off things?

Hi Ladies,

My Embryo Transfer is scheduled for Thurs morning 4/19 at 9:15am. I must say I am a bit excited but definitely nervous. I'm not looking forward to the 2ww either. I was working the last time we did IVF in 2005 so that helped things. Now I'm a stay at home mom so my daughter will help keep me distracted but it will still be on my mind at all times.

I have a friend who did IVF for the first time and felt food aversions, got sick to her stomach from the smell of certain foods, had breast swelling, tiredness, etc. But unfortunately her test was negative. The Dr's told her it was side effects from the Progesterone. So the Progesterone can play evil games on your body and your mind.

For those of you in the 2ww - hang in there - it will be over before you know it.

I'm sending angel dust to all of you for the best outcome possible. I'll update tomorrow after my ET.

Love,
Christine

I've been posting on the wrong threads, it looks like this is where all the action is. Is it to late to join in?? I'm on my 3rd day of stims and just hope there doing there job. I know I've been extra cranky so they must be doing something. Good luck to everyone this is such a wild process.

JenJen....welcome to our thread!!!, yes the hormones can make you crancky so they are definitely working for you  . When are your EC and ET dates, do you know yet??. Good luck!!

Susan....it looks like it was a good thing they let you be out of work for a while, it wouldn't be a good idea to be around psychiatric patients right now, or even worse, they might admit you since you must be psycho now in your 2ww!!!! (sorry bad joke  )........, anyway, only a couple of days to go!!!! woohooooo

Christine..... so tomorrow is your ET!!!, wow, you must be so excited!!, it is normal to be nervous, I guess it is part of the whole thing, so hang in there, it is almost over!!

Donna.... no, you are not the only one who thinks about IVF the whole day, as a matter of fact I am at work and I think I spent half of the day working and the other half posting here talking about IVF related stuff, so go figure

Hello,
Christine, good luck on Thursday!
I am having my EC on Monday at 9am, so I am right behind you. I am on Menopore and Antagon now, they want me to slow down a little bit, the nurse is actually giving me the injections in the office, and she mixes them as well, so that helps.

Hi ladies!

Well, I had a horrible night. I counted my Medrol tabs right as I was going to bed (God only knows why) and found out I took only 1 tablet on one of the days after Er before ET instead of the 4 tablets I was supposed to take. I don't know what happened. Maybe it was the niht of the Valium on ET day when we were out of power??. Anywya, I, ofcourse, was up until 5 AM googling med articles on medrol and found it is critical to take it with AH as the embies are so early exposed to our immune system. I'm trying not to stress about it, but can't get over the fear I've harmed my little embies with such a careless mistake. DH is getting frustrated I let it bother me so much. But, what a dumb thing to forget!! Now I am going to try to go to work and appear normal!! Thanks for letting me vent

Vicki - I should be working too...amazing how little I get done these days!

Susan - How is your father? I'm also in the psych field, but not doing inpatient at the moment. Only outpatient, unless one of them finds themselves in the er!! Hoping to avoid that for quite some time  I really need distractions during this 2ww and find muyself watching ALOT of TV. The 2ww is soo much slower than stims!!

Donna - I am so excited you got the funny taste in your mouth!! Way to go. You get all the fun symptoms. All I get is bloating and fat tummy! Tomorro is really the earliest day we can get a bfp. But, knowing you tested and it was neg, I can totally wait until you get you bfp pee because I'm so certian you're preggo. So, if yours is bfn, mine will definately be too early. I'm sure I'm using very sound logic here

JenJen - WElcome!! Wehn is your first scan??

Christine - Sending tons of sticking vibes your way!!! Good luck with ET!! Thankyou for the reminder that our bodies play tricks on us. It's good to hear it again as our minds get a little funny during the 2ww!

Vicki - When is your bfp test day? Good for you for wanting to be strong. I never even considered not POAS.!! I think I'll POAS Sat. (althoug.... Fri is sounding so much closer! ) AS far as who we are telling. Dh has been much more open telling people and I was hoping to be more quiet this time. Really wanted to wait until 2 tri to say anything. OH well, hoping we have good news for everyone. Sending warm vibes to your little frosty :D :D

Ok, I really should get ready to do some real work. I am starving too, so right after a bite...!

Big hellos to everyone! Sticky dust! Babydust! and Folly Fairys for everyone!!!

Vlada - Thanks for the support! Best of luck to you on Monday for a sucessful ET!

Vicky77 - Thank you for your kind thoughts! We haven't told many people except our parents and my best friend about this cycle. We had 3 miscarriages before seeking treatment and that really set the standard going forward. Hang in there and keep as busy as possible until your ET.

JenJen220 - Best wishes for an easy stim time. The meds can really play games on your body and mind - but it will be over before you know it. The Lupron I took this time made me cranky and irritable. The Gonal-F and Repronex treated me just fine.

Love,
Christine
