Loose stools instead of constipation

Post by wannabeone »

Hi, I am about 6.5 weeks and I'm experiencing loose stools instead of constipation (sorry - tmi). Has anyone had this. I've read about the prenatal being a reason for this, but I've been taking the prenatal for several years, so I don't know why there would be a change. Thanks.

I had that the whole way through... just make sure you don't get dehydrated. Good luck!

I had to go to the GP on Friday to get checked out. I had it for about a week and a half or two weeks (if you count my Jamba Juice incident). I have been reading a lot about this. I feel that my body is going through so many changes and with the increase in hormones, plus all the PIO and Estrogen patches, so I figure that was my body's way of coping. Believe it or not I had to turn in a stool sample bc my GP didn't think it was the meds. With morning sickness and my gag reflexes going bonkers, I managed to get my stool samples. That was the worst. I don't recommend it at all. But I thought it would be worth it in case I did have something going on. Now I have loose stool but not severe diarrhea. I will keep you posted on my test results. Perhaps that would help you out and save you from turning in stool samples.

Take care,
