hi you guys, well I didnt realize i was developing ohss. I got very uncomfortable and bloated a few days before egg retrieval. the ivf nurse at my clinic gave me a paper of what to do such as drink lots of fluid... PLUS 4 cans v8 juice a day. etc. watch for weight gain of 5 pounds or more in 24 hours. Anyway, i did all that and although i'm still bloated its not to bad. they were watching for it because i had 40 plus follicles developing. ( only 15 eggs though) basically they treted it like i was dehydrated.
anyway, as far as pregnancey symptoms... mine started early with my first ( and only so far)child(8). she was concieved naturally and quite by accident :D . basically i started morning sickeness with her immediately. i think its different for everyone. Most people dont start symptoms till five or six weeks. there is another forum called www.medhelp.org and a lot of the women on there were getting neg hpts all the way till their blood test. so don't get discouraged just because you may not have symptoms yet. I read somewhere that some people metabolize the hcg at a slower rate and others faster which make symptoms and tests show up quicker or slower.. etc. ( i may have that not quite right but something like it). anyway the point being, it really is different for everybody. The absolute worst thing you can do at this point is get discouraged. LOL i say that but i'm jumping stumps. can't concentrate... cant do anything. but yep my twin sister has been blessed with two beautiful little girls and she had no symptoms at all until miss cycle.

Hi Ladies - Well my PT is tomorow and suprisingly enough, I didn't give into the HPT!!! I was soooo tempted all weekend, but my spirits have been good and I didn't want to get down about a negative result. So, I have my head held high, I am very confident and I can't wait for tomorrow. I feel like a kid on Christmas night :D

Wish me luck girls, I will be thinking of you guys tomorrow. I will keep you posted. I hope everyone is doing well in their 2 ww. I wish I had some words of advice to help pass the time quicker!!

Vicky...i am so scared to go for HPT before PT....Moreover i hate hpt bcoz i was using it every month for the past 3 yrs...and that stupid thing always showed me BFN.. :x .but i have one more reason for not using hpt...the thing is what if it shows me -ve?...i cant even image that but keeping my patience and "thinking may be,may be not"...is much better than going for hpt.
