Hello all,

Went to see the midwife this morning - baby's head is now engaged, 2/5 palpable which means it's quite low down. AM SO EXCITED!!! We are 35 weeks 4 days now.

Currently have 3 positions which are comfortable;
1. Stood in cool shower
2. Lay on bed with fan on me
3. as head is so far down - peeing in loo!

Can't wait although we still know it could be a while yet am so excited I could pop. OUr baby will be coming in a matter of weeks and its already discovering the escape hatch!!!!!

Hope you guys are all well and finding ways to cope in the heat.

By the way our maternity dept is having staff/ cash problems and is closing wards so if we have a normal delivery discharge will be 6-24 hours, finding that a bit scary!

Love to all bumps and bump bearers - stick 'em out girls!

Eve
xxx

Hi all
Am 35 weeks today and feel like a huge fat blobby thing.
My feet have grown two shoe sizes and by the end of the day look like something totally alien, my ankles hurt, my pelvis hurts , my hips hurt , junior's lying on my sciatic nerve so my left leg is absolute agony and has a life of it's own, my core body temperature is about 2000 degrees and rising and sleep is a long forgotten memory.
BUT.........................

am loving evey single minute of it and still can't belive how lucky I am to be here.

It's my last day at work tomorrow (HOORAY) and I don't think I could have carried-on much longer even if I wanted to. Looking forward to vegging on the sofa, titivating the nursery, packing my bag and basically just looking forward to B-Day.

Good luck to all of you and huge hugs to all those bumps
xxxx
Terri

[Edited by tshepher on 17-Jul-03 15:17]
