I started taking progesterone yesterday and today I have a headache. I don't usually suffer from headaches and I wonder of it is the progesterone causing it.
Anyone else had headaches from progesterone? What did your doc say if you did?

headaches are a really common side effect of taking progesterone. Lots of women on the mini pill (progesterone only) end up coming off it because of the headaches but they are on it for contraceptive reasons and have a choice! It's one of the many things we have to put up with.
But it will all be worth it if it works. I have been told it is ok to take paracetomol but i have found that it has no effect on these particular headaches so i just have a lie down with one of those cool gel sheets on my forehead.
