BFP and Progesterone..need your advice! Quick!

Hi Guys,
Been on the message boards before but not during the last cycle. Just got news today...BFP!!!! I was so excited and was in shock! After 3 attemps, finally! Now i thought the nurse said to keep doing what im doing and to add the progesterone suppository....but now I cant remember if she did say to add the suppository and stop the shots or to do both suppository and shots. Please help, in your experience...did they stop you on the shots and just used suppository or did you continue with both? I already called the clinic, but not sure if they will get back to me tonight.

hmm, in my experience you do only PIO or sypositories. Sorry can't help u here, just wanted to congratulate you on your BFP though:) Have a great and easy pregnancy!

Hi there. I'll be 10 weeks on Wednesday. My Dr had us doing 3 suppositories plus one shot each day. My last shot is on Wednesday, hooray!!!! I will continue the suppositories for 2 more weeks. Hope this helps.

Thank you so much. My clinic didnt call yet, but i think i'll do both and call them tomorrow. I was just replaying what the nurse said in my head and i would have given a big hooray for no more injections. So i think she didnt say to stop. Sorry for posting this twice...thanks again!

soooexcited - firstly, congratulations!!!! hope this will put your mind at rest but our clinic tells people to stop suppositories (doesnt give PIO shots at all) from test day onwards. so you take nothing after test day. hope this helps!

First of all. . .CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!! Super happy for you and DH!

As for the shot/supp, I had to do both until 10 weeks and then just the supp for 2 weeks. Every clinic is different so unfortunately, I doubt any of these posts will help since it seems we are all a great example of that. At any rate, congrats again and enjoy the next 8 months. It's amazing and it goes by so fast.

First of all-congrats~ How exciting!

Secondly, just keep doing what you were doing before until you get clarification from the Doc's office. Every Doc is different in what they want their pat's to do, so I would rely on what the office says more than anyone.

A big congrats to you. Third time is a charm. hope you have a great pregnancy.
I was only on one injection until 12 weeks. I agree continue what you are doing and get the answer you need from your RE.
