Just got back from my 20 week u/s and i have twins (fraternal). ONe mesured 12 oz and the other measured 9 1/2 oz. The palcenta on the smaller baby is measuring smaller too.
They can't see any obvious genetic problem or physiological problem on smaller baby, so worst case is something is very wrong with her OR best case is that she is just a little peanut compared to big sis.
I haven't had that happen...but I know, at almost 9 weeks, my embies are different sizes (we're talking mms here, not ounces!)...
What did the doctor say? Is there a 'next step' ie: a prenatal test they want you to take? Did they actually give you the 'worst case scenario' you mentioned, or is that your own wording?
I'd tap into the medical professionals for something like this, or you could end up with tons of misinformation...even if someone has been in your situation...

GORGEOUS boy and girl
No, the Doc said worst, worst case and best case. Could be something or nothing. Was looking more for other's experiences and their outcomes on what could happen.
