Hi again

Well, yesterday I had some bleeding. I'm freaking out now. I went in this morning for another beta test just so they could make sure my numbers were ok and they haven't called yet.

Has anyone else had bleeding? I'm 7 weeks this week.

Hi Keddie.

I'm so sorry. Don't freak out just yet. My friend has bled a couple of times during her pregnancy and she is fine. Will they do an u/s to be sure too? Let us know as soon as you hear. I'm praying for you.

Hi Christie

They STILL have not called me back. I'm thinking it's going to be ok, but I just need that reassurance ya know?...

They said doing an ultrasound right now wouldn't do any good, that they really wouldn't see anything...I don't really understand that though since they did one already and we did see the sac and a little white dot ... I guess I'll just have to wait.

Everything is ok! OH my was I nervous. I couldn't figure out why there were taking so long to call back either. Thanks for thinking of me. I have a feeling all the extra prayers and well wishes help!

They said I may still have more a little bit more bleeding but my beta number was over 109,000 and they said that was on track.

Isn't it crazy all the worrying we do, I told my dh yesterday it would still be hard if we were "normal" and could get pregnant the "easy way" but thinking something could happen to the baby after all we have gone thru is just unimaginable!

Christie, How far along will you be for your US? I was only 5w4d and they couldn't really see much of a heartbeat yet. They said they will see a stronger one when I get my 8 week US next week.

Thank God everything is ok. I'm just as worried for you as I am for myself. My friend who is 5 weeks ahead of me had an emergency u/s this morning. I've been a wreck all day, worrying about you guys. Everything is ok with her as well. I totally agree that we would worry either way, but after going through everything we have, I can't imagine something going wrong. I don't know how I would handle it. I'll be 6 weeks and a couple of days for the u/s. I'm sure they won't see much on the u/s. I'll get another one a couple weeks after that. Then, I'll get one at my OB when I'm just over 9 weeks. Yay! I can't wait. I feel like this is too good to be true. I just keep waiting for something bad to happen. I hate to think like that, but I can't help it. I'll feel much better when I see it on the screen where it is supposed to be. How is everyone else doing?

Christie, I know EXACTLY what you mean. You do feel better when you see that proof on the screen. At least for a while, haha :)

I think we are both going to be ok... I'm glad to hear everything is ok with your friend too.

Meggs, how are you doing? You go in two days before I do for you 8 week US. Can't wait to hear how it goes. They should be able to see strong heartbeats by then. :) I had that pulling pain sensation on my right side and I thought it was the baby for some reason but the ultrasound tech said that was my ovary because it was double its normal size it would feel like a pulling sensation... I had some pains in my "butt" too , haha, the first couple weeks of getting the progesterone shots but lately I think I've been getting used to it... either that or the queezyness has taken over my mind from thinking about my butt.

Lindsey, your ultrasound is the same day as meggs. Glad to hear your twins are doing well.

BabyB, how have you been?

Keddie-Yeah, its kinda crazy to feel all the wierd stretching/pulling going on, however I dont know if I mentioned it last time or not, but just on my right ovary alone-i have like 6 cysts and he said they were pretty good sized-and he tried to look at my left ovary and couldnt even find it from all of the bloating and fluid from my OHSS....thats gotten waaaaay better though-so im thankful for that-so i try not to panic with every little "twinge" that I feel....
Im glad that this week is going fast and i only have to wait 4 more days til my next u/s! ***Sigh***....thats all pregnancy is is just a huge waiting game.....thats alright, if only i knew things were going to be alright i would enjoy all of this that much more....but I guess, there are no guarentees in life, so we have to live each day-gotta think positive right??? : ) Well, hope you're all doing well! Sticky and Baby dust to all of you!!!!

Ready4baby, TWINS! congratulations! that is so exciting!!!

meggs, I didn't realize you had cysts, no wonder! I was pretty lucky on that end of things I guess. Hang in there four more days seems like forever when your waiting for this stuff. I go in 7 days!

I had one more episode of bleeding this morning but it wasn't a lot but this time it was red blood as compared to the dark red that I had the last several times. My test came back ok yesterday though so I'm going to wait another day or so before panicing and calling again.

Question for you ladies that don't have insurance coverage for anything... we have been paying for absolutely everything but were told now that we are pregnant our insurance should kick in... do you think it would also cover our progesterone shots? I tried to give the fertility pharmacy our ins. information but they said no it doesn't cover. I then called my insurance myself and they said no it doesn't cover the progesterone in oil but I could file an appeal. Kind of makes me mad since now the medication is needed to maintain a pregnancy.

Ready4Baby,
Congrats!!! Twins is so exciting. Now, I'm even more excited to see how many I have in there.

Kelly,
I'm so sorry you are still bleeding. I'm sure it will stop. As long as it isn't all day and heavy, I'm sure it is fine. Have them repeat your hcg test, just to be sure if that would make you feel better. I'd want an ultrasound too. Does your insurance pay for the tests and u/s? Find out if your insurance will pay for suppositories or the gel. Maybe you can switch.

I talked to my doctors office and apparently no one ever asked about having insurance cover the progesterone. I can't believe that. They acte like they didn't know what I was talking about. Oh well, compared to what we have already paid the progesterone is a drop in the bucket, it's just the point of the situation you know...?

I'm still going to file an appeal to try to get it approved even if they don't for me maybe someone else down the line will get coverage.

I only had the bleeding once today so I'm feeling a little better about it, plus they told me I may still bleed.

My dr.'s office is pretty insistant on the oil for 12 weeks so I don't want to go against what they prescribe and I doubt the insurance would cover any of the medications from our fertility pharmacy. I think as soon as they see the word infertility they automatically say they won't cover.

Oh well, this should be last of what we have to pay out of our pocket besides co-pays so we should be out of the woods soon. :)

Hi ladies!

I had my ultrasound today and both of our adorable babies look perfect! They have grown so much in the last week. I can't wait to see them again next week. My morning/all day sickness has gotten so much worse this week but other than that and being pretty tired...I am feeling pretty good. How are you ladies? Babyb, Meggs, Keddie, Christie76, ready4baby?

Hi everyone!

Doing much better here now that I had my 8w scan and saw my twins again -- both with very strong HBS (over 150 per my RE). Twin A is measuring 17.3 mm and Twin B is measuring 17.8 mm so they are close in size. Just get me to the next critical marker (12w)! Actually, I think I'll be saying this throughout the pregnancy for each marker. We have all been through so much, we can't be let down at this stage!

I'm so happy to hear everyone seems to be doing well. SO MANY TWINS! Isn't it just a blessing! Thankfully no m/s, but lots of indigestion and now I'm having some menstrual like cramps (ever since my u/s yesterday). No bleeding so I'm not worried on that front -- think it is just movement and stretching, etc.

Ready4baby: CONGRATS! For some reason, I already thought you were having twins (didn't you have a high first beta?). Was this the first time you realized you were having multiples?

Keddie: Whew! Glad to hear the bleeding wasn't a problem and that the babies are doing fine. I have heard a number of stories where women bleed throughout the first trimester and deliver happy, healthy babies.

Christie: Keep us posted -- we are curious to know if you are joining the double trouble group too.

Mom2b: Welcome to the forum and Congrats.

Lindsey: I'm on track with you. Since we are having twins, our due dates should be pushed by about 4 weeks or so. I was originally due June 5, but now RE is saying late April/early May.

Meggs: So sorry to hear about the cysts. Does this create additional pain/cramping for you in the pregnancy? Glad to hear all is well, though.

Did I miss anyone?

So, is anyone showing yet? I'm blowing up already (didn't show a thing until 5 months on my first pregnancy!). I'm already wearing my old maternity pants. I don't know whether I've really put on the lbs, but I certainly feel like I'm pooching out and my DH certainly thinks I'm balooning.
Me: 40; DH: 30 (Demi/Ashton!)
9/14/07: 3 perfect blasts xferred
