Tanya, wow, an actual date to look forward to. I can't imagine the excitement you'll have on Christmas day. I'm excited for you.

noodle - yes, it's been a long road but worth it. Occassionally I pop in on the IVF thread and read about gals starting their treatments, their anxieties, and I agree, it seems like a fog now. You sound like a rocker like me. I'm sure you'll be ok. Just don't be dancing too much! I'd love to go to Jersey to see Bon Jovi but I'm gonna have to sit out this tour. I got to see them in May in Vegas and they sang several of their new songs. so, I guess that will satisfy me for now.

Rikirees - how are you doing? how is Sarah? I watched Maternity Ward this monring and they delivered a 25 wks old baby. It seemed small but totally perfect.

Christine - wow, 12 lbs is great. I'm trying to keep mine down this time. I gained 44 lbs with my DD.

Tanya- What wonderful news! Dec 26th is right around the corner! And it will be great to be able to plan on that date! Plus you will get the two child tax credits next year as long as you apply for their SS#'s right away - LOL! Best wishes to you and DH and your babies!

Noodle - Good luck on your scan! And I've been told by my OB and it's posted in her office to get a flu shot as long as you are not in the first trimester. Us pregnant ladies are considered high risk so your Primary Care Doctor should give it to you and bill your insurance. You can do it your office as well for a fee. I had mine done at my PC doctor office. I wouldn't want to get the flu while being pregnant or while caring for my almost 2yr old toddler and a new baby. Good luck!

Steph, Malinka, Jovigal, Rikirees - Hope you are all doing well. Keep us posted with updates.

Take Care,
Christine

hi ladies, how are you? I am glad everything is fine and we all are moving along.
I passed 3 hours test, thanks G-d, but boy was it uncomfortable to seet for 3.5 hours in a lab. Everything seems fine except terrible heartburn and that It is so hard to walk now days. Half an hour and I am done LOL:) I am so not used to it, not at all.

Tanya, that is awesome that you have your c-section already scheduled. So are you going to be 36 weeks by then?

noodle good luck with your US scan.

Tanya - So nice to see you get a great Xmas gift a day late. You must be over cloud 9.

Malinka - Glad to hear you passed the 3 hour. I hope I don't have to do that wonderful 3 hour test this time around.

Christine - Glad to hear you and baby are doing well. It is posted in my OB office as well to get the flu shot.

Noodle - I do also plan to get the shot like Christine said it is posted in my OB office as well to get the shot. Happy you are doing well.

Jovi - Nice to see you again and glad that all is going well with you and baby. It does seem like so long ago that we all had our BFP cycles. I remember thinking that I didn't know if I could go thru with those shots one more time... and now shew.. It just seems like forever ago.

Rikirees - How are you and DH? How is baby Sarah?Hope all is good and things are going well.

HI ladies:
I thought i would pop in for an update while I wait for my ride to the hospital.
Sarah is doing well. She lost a little bit of weight, which was to be expected. She is feeding well, and wiggling around in her little bed. Its amazing how well she responds to DH's voice. Her heart and lungs are looking good and her only job now is to gain weight. I can't wait to hold her in my arms!
As for me, I am EXHAUSTED. I think its a combo of the c section and the pumping (every 3 hours) but man, I can't seem to catch up.
Gotta run. sorry i didnt have time to read or respond to others posts.

Hey guys...

Rikirees
So happy to hear from you! Thank you for the update. I am so happy that Sarah is doing so well. How amazing! You must be so proud and happy!!! How big does she need to be for you to be able to hold her? Im not real sure how that works. It must be hard to try and keep up with all the pumping!!! Your pump is your new best friend!!!

Steph
I am so excited about it. My family will be able to be there because everyone will be off for the holidays and I think that it will be wonderful. I am looking forward to it. Only 69 more days!!!! Woo Hoo. I will be posting photos as soon as I get them of course!

Malinka
I will be 36 weeks that week after christmas...technically on that Saturday. So it will be like 35W and 4D. They should do well at that stage. I just did my Glucost test today and I thought it was bad enough waiting in the lab for 1 hour! My butt was numb as it was. I hope that it turns out OK.

Christine
You are correct! Tax Deductions!!! LOL is that bad or what? My oldest son was born at 630pm on Dec 31st and everyone teased me about that when he came! It was a good joke for a while and now the twins-everyone is already going nutty on me! I am thrilled.

Jovigal
Thank you. Christmas will be super wonderful this year!

Noodle
I know what you are saying about freaking you out. I mean on the one hand it is nice and then on the other I know the day!!! Wacky as that sounds. Looking forward to it. Only 69 days left!!! Let us know how your u/s goes. I have heard that cramping after sex can happen due to the uterine contractions that follow. Ask tho and let us know.

Well as stated above I had my one hour sugar test today and a 24 hour urine as well as a pregnancy induced hypertension panel drawn (blood) Just to make sure that things are looking good for the home team!
I go for my 3D scan on Monday to (hopefully) see their little faces!!! I hope so. I hope that Riley decides to show himself!!!

Rikirees, thanks for the update girl. I am glad lil Sara is doing well, G-d speed to all that weight gaining.

when you say you r pumping, is that for a future feedings or you are able to feed her?

Christine 12lb awesome job, I gained 30 so far:)

Tanya, thats awesome, great christmas gift and almost 36 weeks is a pretty good milestone. They say the perfect time for twins to show up is 36-38 weeks. How cool is to have all your kids to be born on the same month! I really hope you passed that test. 3 hour test is not bad, it is just so tiresome .
Ladies how everybody else is doing?

Thanks Malinka
I have gained 24 lbs as of last week....They say that is good but I feel huge! I just got the call from my clinic that I did pass the sugar test. I also need to make an adjustment to my thyroid hormone. They called in a new scrip for me and I will start it ASAP. I forgot to ask about the 24 hour urine test and the PIH panel. I hate the clinic and can get no one to call me back on anything and when you call you can't talk to anyone so I will just wait until Monday when I am in their office.

Rikirees - I'm so glad that Sarah is doing well.

I seem to have lost a little weight myself. Not sure why b/c I'm clearly growing.

Glad you are all passing your tests and getting more exact dates to look forward to.

Noodle - Glad to hear baby Sydney is doing well.

We had our 2 week appt and it seems that my cervix went from 3.3 to 2.7 in the last 2 weeks... They said not to worry.. Yeah OK.. Lil man also went from 1 pound 10 ounces to a nice 2 pounds 6 ounces hee hee I guess he also likes to eat  They hooked me up to watch and observe if I was having contractions since I am getting those wonderful braxton hicks everyday I guess that they wanted to be sure all is well. Our next 2 week appt is the 7th when I turn 28 weeks yeah!!! Then I have my 3d/4d on Nov 13th.

Hope everyone is doing well... Hope to hear updates soon.

Just to let y'all know that I have posted the 3D u/s photos on www.thejourneyforbaby.blogspot.com for your viewing pleasure. It was so amazing! I had a great time and the babies are so much more interesting in 3D than the 2D black and white deals!! It was sooo cool to actually be able to see them and watch them move about!!! Technology......its great!

Malinka
The PIH panel is Pregnancy induced hypertension-they check for elevated l iver enzymes basically. At least it is good at this point. I am pleased with that.

noodle
So happy that your u/s went well with baby Sydney! That is wonderful! I bet you are happy about that.

Steph
He is a growing little weed isnt he? You will absolutely love the 3D deal! It was so cool! I loved it. I can't wait to see your lil bit!!
