Hi all,
My baby does not seem to take large amounts of milk. He is mostly breastfed and I don't have a great supply. So, he does have to feed several times. But he was on formula mostly at one time before he got the hang of the bfeeding and he was still snacking most of the time. (i.e, he takes several small feedings than one big one) His pediatrician is not worried since he is gaining weight normally. Any one else had experience like this?

Deepa~ My twins will periodically do this, the whole snacking thing. When they do it I have to try stretch out the feedings a bit longer so they feed more vigorously when they do eat. I figure, like me, you would just rather feed him more less often than a little more often. Even it I can only stretch it 15-30 minutes it helps when they start doing this.
I hope that may help if even only a little. Goo luck~

Thanks for your reply, kimberly.
I suspect it has something to do with gas and acid reflux. His pediatrician says babies that have acid reflux tend to eat like that... It is kinda' stange considering only thing they can eat is milk and it wouldn't agree with them.
