I don't know why. I'm afraid I'll do something wrong. I'm not afraid of the needle, I'm just a worry wart. My DH couldn't make the injections class, so he can offer no assistance.
I was really comfortable with everything until now-now that it's looming over my head.
I'm such a dolt. Anyone care to offer some encouraging words? Thanks in advance!

My husband just dove right in! I was scared to DEATH...but everything turned out great! No worries...it really can't go wrong! Just make sure he holds the needle at an angle. Are you starting them in your stomach or hips?

Stomach and the nurse told me straight in, no angles.
I think I'm also really worried about whether this whole thing is going to work. At my age (42), it's my best chance and I'm not sure where my mind will take me if it's a bust.
I was reading a 'trying to conceive' board and a girl who is pregnant was complaining that she just found out she's having a boy. That just got under my skin. She has the right to want a girl over a boy, but some people just don't realize that many of us would be thrilled with either. All I want is a healthy baby.

I'm going to start my very first IVF this week too. And I'm just feeling so nervous about the injections. Its not so much the needles, but the thought of getting it wrong. Its stressing me out so much. So you now have a buddy in exactly the same position as you.
