I have no idea what boodies are...booty means your hiney/bum/rearend/butt...like shake shake shake...shake your booty!

And Coke is soda...soda is all flavors (7up, Sprite, Root Beer, Coke, Pepsi) but I call all cola Coke, yes like Coca Cola! I've never heard of Walkers, I too love Ruffles..my fave though is Lays Dill Pickle!! OMG sooooo weird I know, but if you LOVE pickles then you HAVE to have these chips Image

Some year I will get the tree down, I may work on it tomorrow. I can't get the tree itself down though...pool boy seems to be on vacation :( Image

Nims- no by the time we got to the top of the stairs we were hysterically laughing our arses off! Dumb Americans! Image

Jayne- all things will be fine with the latest tests...have some Reeces PB Cups and relax

Steph- yes your name is fantastic, too! Don't you think all the lovely ladies having little girls should use that name, too Image
Let's kick that cyst's BOOTIE (haha) and get your cycle started!!! Image

As for me, you guys are gonna have to entertain yourselves all day...I will be in hell during daylight hours for the rest of the week ImageImage

I'm off to bed. I'm sick of watching election crap!

GOOD GRIEF!!! I leave you guys alone for one fricken day and just look what you've done!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't have it in me for a full blown personals --- but did want to say.........

NIMS --- FANTASTIC NEWS HONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!! so glad everything ok........

As for me........only 2 precious embies left by the time we got there yesterday --- oh and what a horrible drive!!! Was pouring rain and 2.5 hours ONE WAY from home!!!!! And on major highways and were dealing with "morning rush hour traffic"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I really didn't think we were going to make it there to get babies back on board! So here we are with 2.........and my doc doesn't go into the whole "size, shape, grade, etc" stuff --- only that their were 2 acceptable/good blasts to return to momma...........OH - they DID do "assisted hatching" on them as well - which is also suppose to increase the odds.......all fingers crossed!!! I know i'm insane (for many reasons do i know this.....) - but i SWEAR last night i could feel them implanting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i know -- silly, silly, silly!!!! have gone into that mad stage of feeling EVERY SINGLE twinge, nerve, ache, etc!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OH well............whatever is meant to be ---- will be!!

Must run.........well --not RUN.......but get back to my lazy-boy chair with feet up cuz dh mentioned "popping in to check on me" and he would have a FIT if he knew i were wandering!!!

Will be back to work and in form tomorrow girls..........can't tell ya how much your thoughts and well wishes mean to me!!!!!!!!!!!

***** SEND ME STICKY BABY DUST *********

p.s. ---- steph, have you started the hpt POAS yet???????????????? when can we look for that adventure to start??? :-) congrats on yer job interview hun!!! WELL DONE!

hey ladies

    you crack me up. as for your brits/us chat....sorry if these have already come up but dont you call trainers (ie comfy shoes, which you wear for jogging) sneakers?? was also telling dh about this conversation and he said "oh yeah, like gas and petrol"...  ...ie what you put in your car.

nimble - so so pleased your scan went ok. kept logging on to check but just so glad....as for the doppler thing. i know lara got one but i decided not to get one as i know you cant always necessarily find the heartbeat (ive been to the specialist and they couldnt find it at one point!) and that would just freak me out. but each person feels differently. oh, and really sorry but i had to laugh when you realised earlier that maybe your parents told you a fib about your turtle. bless you. let us know what they say!!  nimble's turtle: Image

beachbaby - best of luck for your scan and bloods. let us know as soon as you know. wow, 12 weeks done...you're nearly in your 2nd trimester already!! have you bought anything yet?? Image

pequele - your mad...   your posts are soooo funny. cant believe you have turtle stuff for the baby already! how cool!!  found this for you...how cool is that!? Image

welshbugger - hey hun. hows your arse?? lol....only joking, seriously. how you feeling now?? bet you're the new shikira now....Image hows the new job going??

lara - hey hun. wow, 18 days. thats not long at all....i'm counting down too but i have 11 weeks! lol. i'm with you on the breastfeeding! hadnt thought about b/feeding pjs though. good idea! Image

icsi - excellent news on your embies!!! dont be too disheartened on the number. we only had 1 spare to freeze first time round (so 3 were ok altogether) and a lady called emma on here last year only had 1 embie and got pregnant!!! anyway, lots of sticky dust for the 2ww. and you're not silly feeling them implant. even if they didnt yesterday, its good to visualise that they have!!! keep up the good work!! Image

su - have fun tomorrow. aaaahhh, rice pudding. havent had that in ages!!! mmmmhhhhmmm....i used to have it with cinnamon. yummy. Image

stephjim - will keep jigging for your AF to arrive soon! Image Image

wishfull, angel, etc. hello!!!! Image

carolyn, jenn, jen1d, gill, etc - hope you're all well. jen1d - any news on your fil?? hope you're all ok. Image

as for me, all ok. dh has a sickness and diarrhoea bug so was up all of monday night with him. to top it, our toilet has to be flushed with a bucket at the moment as its all been ripped out for the extension. nice.....but he's over the worst of it now. thank god. as long as i dont get it!!! i've bleached everything every time he's been on the toilet and wont go near him!!!  and touch wood, i havent felt bad so far. fingers crossed!! apart from that, all ok, working hard and as i said to lara, counting down the days till i go on maternity leave!!!

bye for now

Good Evening Ladies :D

Sorry aint been on today, had visitors, then went to MIL's for dinner, and been really busy since - doing a jigsaw lol :P

Right - lets see if i can catch up ...

Nims: I dont like u going to the gym hun lol - i think u should be taking it easy, have a stroll to the shops if u wanna walk, just not on a treadmill, seems too excersizey on a treadmill lol. I googled a doopler for u and this is what came up - i too think it maybe benificial for you - put ur mind at rest - u could take it on the treadmill with u  lol
The Use of Dopplers in Fetal Monitoring

It is becoming increasingly recognised by the medical profession that it can be very beneficial for pregnant women to use a fetal doppler at home in between visits to their GP or hospital. This is particularly the case where mothers are anxious perhaps because they have previously had a difficult pregnancy or a miscarriage.
It has been found that when such a pregnant women buys or rents one of the current range of reasonably priced lightweight hand held dopplers her confidence and wellbeing increases.

If i had one, i would be using it too much and when the baby was resting, i would be poking it to make sur lol. Good idea tho, may have caused u less worry after ur scare on Sunday - but also may cause too much worry if u dont hear what u want to. Anyway young lady, rest up - not too much work and gentle walking only! Oh sounds bliss lol xxx

Rachel: Yes, i have heard from Aunty - last got a text from her on New Years Eve (well day - as it was 12.20am) She is well and looking fwd to 2008, i always pass on ur messages to her, ive just posted her a letter with lots of news - i hope it keeps her amused lol. An thanks for asking about my arse (lol) i was really quite sore last night, i think i did a tad too much yesterday, driving etc - so i havent done nothing too strenous today, trying to rest - but kinda hard when u rest u sit - it obvisouly makes me worse lol. Hope u are well hun xxx

ICSI: Congratulations and Celebrations, i want the world to know im happy as can be - for u obvisouly  So slad to hear that ur 2 babies made it home, ive read up on assisted hatching - if they can get thru that, then ur on a roll hun - i do beleive this time u are gonna be well and truly 'up the duff''. They say to imagine them implanting (u said u already felt that) and to talk to them - encourange them to hang about for 9 mths, it dont matter if u look like a mental basket case - it will be just another day at the office in ur case haha! Take it easy now ok - oh dear, how on earth can u sleep untill test date!!! xxxx

Steph: Ok, u deffo have a thing for turtles lol - beautiful outfits for baby, in 9 mths time u will have one to fit into them. We would normally call em 'babygrows' as for boodies - i have no idea lol xx

Su: Hey hun, how u doing? I have to agree with u - my Jack is fab, if i was a ***** i'd fancy him hahah! He is sitting outside the back door at the moment - and his little head is tilting from side to side and i can hear wimpering - but am trying to ignore him cos its raining outside, and he will stink the place out if i let him in lol. I havent eaten rice pudding in years - oooooo i have a craving now and im not even pregnant lol xx

As for work - i havent started my new job yet - im still on sick with my sore arse, i wouldnt be able to go in and start somewhere new walking the way i am at the moment - bit embarrasing lol ....

Hi girls

Finally i make it back, its been hectic.

Dh's Dad is comfortable just now and the Dr has said he has improved although we all know only to well that this means stable as he will not recover from all these problems but at least we know he is ok. It was so tough leaving him in the hospital the other day but hopefuly we are trying to plan our IM trip around a visit to see him first.

My af is due either 10th or 11th then patches will be slapped on. IM rang me today and confirmed we have provisionally booked the 28th at 1200 for FET. Although this might change a day or 2 depending on flights and af date. There is a 2 week margin after i have my scan that i can do ET, so we have a bit of room for change although our hols are in at work so it will definately be around that week sometime.

We are hoping to drive to see dh's Dad then fly over from England. The only thing is that means we have to fly to Barcelona Girona airport. I dont mind on the way there but on the way back we would have to get a bus from Av Diagonal to the airport (app 1hr) then fly home then i can rest for an hour or 2 at my sis-in-laws house which is just beside tje airport then drive another 4 hrs up to Scotland. The guy at IM said this was fine but i'm still a bit wary. So would appreciate any advice, do you think its ok to travel this much the day after ET????

Ok i have been at work then on the treadmill and being a good girl with my diet so i am now whacked and away to chill

I will be here soon to keep you all going---promise

Love Jen x

Hi ladies,

ICSI congratulations on the twins coming home, can't believe your back at work tomorrow, take it easy and rest up when you can. good luck.

Nims, glad your taking it easy until the magic 12, glad all has settled down, keep the faith.

rachel, can't believe you only have 18 days left at work, how exciting.

Hi to evryone else. just wanted to update you all.

Scan went really well, both still measuring larger than their age, the nuchal measure was 1.5 and 1.9 respectively, which she said were excellent, will get the combined results on Monday. We also got to hear the heartbeat which was fantastic.

Jen - glad to hear the fil is doing well and is comfortable - fantastic news that you have date for FET - this time is going to be your time - can feel it in me bones as they say. I'm sure the travellling will be fine, but just make sure you get plenty of rest in between stops.

Jayne - wow how amazing to hear the heartbeats and thats great news on the scan and results.

Shantala /Becky - thanks for the info about the doppler - me thinks best i don't get one - can you imagine what we would be like if we couldn't hear anything - we would be climbing the walls with worry so best leave it to the experts.

Shantala - hope hubby is feeling better - lots of that sickness going around so you stay clear of him, you hear! Lots of bleach and wipes!! hows the house getting on ? what a nightmare for hubby to be ill and no flushing loo - uummm doesn't bear thinking about.
hey do you fancy mtg again soon....want to see the bump!

Becky - aww you poor thing, bum still hurting - now you should be resting too - uuummm take some of your own advice and chill on the sofa !!  I know about the gym, but always been quite active so finding doing nothing quite hard - oh well can get used to it very quickly!! :D

Send Aunty my love when you next communicate with her - I do think about her often and check myspace for updates - so glad that she is on the road to recovery - tell her we miss her very much on her xxx

Think I made meatballs for about 20 and not 2 - just can't seem to get this portion thing right!! now i have a nice round belly but nothing to do with the pg - although don't know about you Shantala/Rachel - do you find you get fuller quicker??

Off to waddle and chill in front of tv for a while before hitting the sac -

Steph - have you been kept behind for bad behaviour in hell ??? Well time you get on shall be in the land of nod - any poas done yet??

nite nite

ICSI,

You need to get your DH to buy you a laptop so that he can't catch you out of the chair. :) I am so happy you have two good ones to bring home with you.

OMG yes! I call them tennies...like tennis shoes, your trainers! Sometimes sneakers, but mostly tennies. And gas and petrol...see we will figure it all out...wouldn't a game of charades be fun with all of us! I'm loving the baby turtle! So tiny...and did you really think I could pass up the cute little turtle outfits

PS. apparently the bug is starting up round here too! 2 people have had it at work so far, and MANY coming in asking questions. My suggestion, lots of fluids and Lysol! It even made the news...that was until my power went out..luckily it was only out a short time...why does it only go out when it is dark out?
