Rin- you have had such an upbeat spirit here and I just know at least one of your embies will get that from you and make it through! I'll be praying for your little fighter tonight.

Kbear- glad to see you checked in. Good for you for not POAS. OMG! I loved the comment you DH made about him POAS!!

I'm still cracking up! good one!

Rio- Learn from Kbear. You don't need to POAS! And Mia, leave her alone! I know your one tough cookie (us SM's have to be)

Katie- sorry to hear about the bloating again. You've been suffering with that for a while now. Man, I hope it is due to something you ate and it goes away soon.

So Tammy- are you free to move around tomorrow?

Okay. I hate to be SO upbeat. But I am having a terrific day! Of course DH is gone so that's nice (only b/c I don't have to hear the drama about his ex and skids). I went to the RE's today to drop off my extra meds and ended up visiting with my nurse for 45 minutes. Just BS'ing and what not. Then, I asked her, "since I'm sans needles today" and she stopped me and said "yes, you can have a drink". Since ET is tenatively scheduled for Friday, today is my one day to indulge.! Sooooo, I am currently having a glass of wine with a plate of cheese and crackers toasting to all of you wonderful ladies. A toast to strong, healthy follies and embies!

And to new friendships!

Well, I'm off to pack a couple of boxes. Then I guess I'll wash my doggie.

Weezie--im kinda glad im bloated its a low bloat not the horrible kind a last week. I feel like im about to start my period. I hope its b/c im going to get a BFP. I am starting to get a little more anxious. Next week will be the killer week.

AF FINALLY CAME!!! I will begin stims on Friday. I have done 4 IUI's with injectibles, and never stimmed for more than 9 days. My RE suggested that he thought this would also be a short cycle....so I think that my ER will be on 2/8 or 2/9??? I am hoping for a day 5 ET, but of course have no idea what will happen yet.

I love reading all of your updates, and knowing how many embryos you transferred. I would like to do 3 if possible.

I am so impressed with all of you not POAS. I have to admit, I bought some weeks ago, so I know I won't be able to hold out. I can't wait for all of your BFP's!!!!!

As for talking to people/telling family and friends. I have struggled with that as I have been dealing with infertility. In the beginning of trying I talked to a lot of people. However, when it didn't happen I wished I had kept my mouth shut.

Most of my family (parents) and close friends know we are undergoing some treatments, but I try not to tell them specifics (dates, etc). I am not at all ashamed of what we are doing, I just know that there are days that I don't want to talk about it, especially with people who have never dealt with infertility. I find they say the most thoughtless things at times. I also know that if this doesn't work (hate to even go there) I don't want to have to tell everyone it was a BFN. This board has been a wonderful way to talk to others who understand!

Oh my - so much to catch up on here!!

Rin: Keep up that PMA. It is out of your hands and we can just pray that your embies are fighters!! Hoping everything is ok with the PGD test. I am thinking of you today!!

Weezie: I have been having a glass of wine everyday of stimms!! The RE said it was ok

But I am planning on a margarita tonight

PIO: did not hurt at all that night, but today my bum has been sore

I don't think the ice and cream is necessary at alll - You don't feel a thing! But it might be more of a psychological help... I did warm the syringe up and massaged the spot afterwards and put heating pad for a bit, don't know what else I can do to make it less sore... I am feeling good after yesterdays ER. I went to work for a bit, ran some errands today, some pain in my abdomen, but I felt good. Did manage a 2 hour nap as well

Ok the Fert report:
9 eggs
6 mature
5 fertilized (all with ICSI)
3 eggs they are waiting until tomorrow to see how they mature!

The RE is talking about a day 3 transfer

BUt I really want a day 5 transfer. SO I will talk to him tomorrow about the Pros and Cons. SO transfer might be Friday or Sunday. I am telling everyone that I am having back pains, and that is why I will have to be on bedrest. My god-sister lives with us (19 yrs old) so I had to make something up!!

You 2ww are making me laugh!! You weaklings wanting to POAS (ha!)

Sorry I can't do personals. My dad is coming in town (maybe tomorrow) and I want to clean the house especially before the ET, cuz I don't want to do any cleaning for awhile after that.

Sage - wooohoo AF!!! never thought you would be so happy about AF huh? I haven't told many people either, not because I am ashamed of anything but I don't want the constant questions or pity for a BFN, this board is different, we all understand and offer support, outside of it people don't know what to do or say. My mom and sister in law have been awesome, my in-laws, not so much, a bit distant.
weezie - have a sip or two for me, I am so jealous, I would love to have some wine about now! How can they expect us to go through 2WW without alcohol?

Talk about doggies, my 95 lb lap dog decided to sleep on the bed with us last night and use my backside as a race track when he was dreaming of chasing something! Talk about a sore bum being kicked all night, and at 95 lbs there is no moving him off the bed (he is deaf now or just really has selective hearing!).

I am going to try and take a nap when I go home, sitting in the office is hard because my belly is so HUGE! Yes I feel like AF is coming, but no spotting, and I cannot believe how aware of my uterus and ovaries I have become!!!

Rinnie: How are you doing tonight, dear? You are one of the most positive women on here...and I know that you can and will get through this. I admire your courage and strength. Keep your chin up! I am praying for you.

Sage: Yayy for AF. Just so you know I stimmed all 3 times for IUI's only 7/8 days and swore up and down it wouldnt got 12 like the docs said it would...guess who won? LOL It will most likely go 12 or so if you are guessing...because the Lupron is suppressing your ovaries while you are stimming...which I had not taken into account. I too bought POAS last week in preparations...knowing that I will probably test...2 days earlier than the clinic. Just dont test anymore than 2 days earlier than your clinic to be safe.

Weezie: Glad you are having a wonderful day....we need lots of those around here. Yes, tomorrow I am going to accupuncture and gonna get moving around again. Wine and cheese and crackers are my favs.

Kbear: My backside is getting sore now, too. Ugh. Love the DH's comment on peeing on all your sticks. LOL

Rio: Love the new ticker. Where is everyone elses? LOL

I have either an ear ache, a tooth ache, or a sinus infection brewing! It hurts and I cant understand how it could...I have been on tetracycline!

- I am not that strong!!! If I were to POAS...

tomorrow would be 10dp3dt, would that be too soon? I am doing blood hcg tomorrow but won't know till Sat

Would you keep second guessing your POAS test? or take it a face value?
tammy - sorry you think you have an infection, hopefully the antibiotics can clear it

The problem is the antibiotics were for IVF and I only have 1 dose left. So they didnt help whatever I am getting.

You are 3 hours behind us right? It is 7:10 here in Ohio. Tonight is 12 dpt which is when I am testing too. Seriously though dont listen to me....LOL

Tammy - If I had ET on 1/21 today would be 12 days? my pea brain is confused, is it counting from ER or ET? It is 4:25 in Ca now... would you second guess the HPT?
