Hi ladies i'm just looking for a bit of advice
Had a midwife appt on friday and had a blood test 3 weeks ago to check iron levels i have been on iron tablets for 8 weeks now 3 a day so she phoned for the results and my levels have dropped since 1st getting pregnant and when she measured my belly baby is measuring 2 weeks more i was on the top of the chart last time she measured belly now i'm off my chart and she said baby feels big so she has now got me hospital appt has she said i may need more than just my iron tablets i am worried even though she told me not to worry has this happened to anyone else and if so what action did your hospital take thank you any advice would be great

Hi Rachel

Congratulations on your pregnancy. With my daughter Jodie was I measuring 54 weeks at 30 weeks! I had a lot of fluid and a big baby.

Have you had a GTT? I don't quite know what she means by you may need more than just iron.

I hope you don't have to wait too long to find out.

Hi jo thanks for the reply will know more on thursday she said about my iron levels has they are very low and have been taking iron for weeks no have not had gtt has when 1st visted hospital they said i would not need it but maybe now i do how big was jodie when she was born
