No pregnancy symptoms

Post by sugabeanzs »

Hello all you mothers out there! I was wondering, I am expecting twins this fall. I am almost 10 weeks pregnant and I literally have hardly any symptoms. Sure, I am more tired than usual and a little more lazy and pee like crazy during the night but nothing else really! Is this a bad sign? I mean they say with twins you should have more symptoms. It just scares me because my next OB appt is not till April 3. Any ladies experience this?

Don't worry yourself. All pregnancies are different and many people have very little signs of pregnancy this early on. I am on my second pregnancy with twins. I started to get bigger much sooner, but during the first trimester, my only "symptoms" were exhaustion and some weight gain (which was expected since this is my 2nd pregnancy). I didn't have any nausea. Late in the 1st trimester, I started getting bad migraines -- consider yourself blessed you aren't getting these. If you are concerned, why not call on your OB just for some peace of mind? I'm sure your symptoms will surface soon enough and when they do, you'll probably be admiring the days when you were pregnant without all the messy symptoms.

Congrats on the TWINS! That is fantastic news. I'm due in about 8-9 weeks with twin boys.

Not sure about twin pregnancies but it's normal for many people not to have any pregnancy symptoms. I hardly have any morning sickness. Don't feel that exhausted. Surely my tummy has started showing but that's because it's 15 weeks. You can go in to your OB/GYN for doppler heartbeart just for peace of mind.

Hi
This is my first pregnancy and I'm pregnant with twin girls. I had the exact symptoms you are experiencing as well. I never got morning sickness-which I'm very thankful for. I can understand you being paranoid and wanted to let you know that you are fine. I did however get some really bad heartburn for awhile but did finally subside after about 3 weeks.
Just try and relax and enjoy the fact you are pregnant! Good luck with your pregnancy.

Hi, try to relax, i am pregnant with twins and had hardly any symptoms, occasional nausea, mostly food related aversions but nothing major. Slight tiredness and no sore boobs then or now.
I do have really bad heartburn and am on my 3rd bottle of gaviscon, but this only started about 4 weeks ago, and has been less over this weekend, fingers crossed.
Enjoy your pregnancy.

Suga,
Try to enjoy it! A friend of mine who had IVF twins four years ago said during the whole pregnancy the worst thing she had was some constipation, a need to pee a bunch, and heartburn. But she only really got those symptoms later in pregnancy, after 4 months.

My mother had one baby at at time, but each pregnancy felt so good that she wondered if she was on happy drugs. The price she paid was later; almost immediately after giving birth she went through postpartum blues. She got hooked on the happy drugs, and then says she went through a kind of withdrawal later.

Anyway girl! Enjoy your pregnancy. It sounds like you've having an ideal one! ... Lostgirl

Thank you all for your posts! This does help me a little. It was nice when I woke up this morning and looked down and literally looks like everything just popped!

I too had no symptoms! I am thrilled about it now but was also worried when I was pg w/ twins. If you end up like myself it will be a GREAT preganancy with very little syptoms at all. It made being pg so sweet! I could just enjoy the babies!

Good luck!
