(do you know what i mean or am i just being weird??  )
Hey Shantala, it is lovely weather today isn't it. Hope it stays that way. On all the washing - you are just wierd  But its not your fault, its those pregnancy hormones.

Shantala,

Did no one tell you that being wierd is a pre requisite to being accepted in our "circle of friends". You lose your wierdness, and you're out girl!

Last week's blood test says I'm very anemic - I've had heavy AF since then. So its only serious lack of iron. am already munching on the spinach.

Are you getting some rest in between all the washing?

angel - ok thanks, forgot that you have to be weird to be on here....feeling much better now!!   oohh, low on iron...thats not good. that doesnt help your emotional state either. did they put you on iron tablets or injections?? yes, getting rest between washes....although i have my baby brothers here (well, they're not exactly babies, they are 11 and 13 but are still my babies!! lol)...and they're keeping me laughing and help me if i need to do anything too strenuous....you doing anything nice today?? or you just looking after yourself and resting??

chriss --- good luck w/ mock transfer today!! let us know how it goes  i do think steph is right in saying that new doc has road map --- so he's going into this KNOWING exactly where things should be!!!

hope ---- same applies to you, we want to know how everything went with your us!!!!!!! :P so your ms ---- is it just upset tummy??? or are ya puking all over??? (can't WAIT for ms!!!!) ha, ha, ha!!! :P :P

and rachel ---- your time has come to be a mum!!! big hugs to you and ruby!!!!!!!!!!! (when she gets here of course.....)

shantala --- first off -- what is a "lorry driver" -- i get the "driver" part, but what the heck is a lorry??????? and secondly --- i don't think you're strange at ALL for wanting to get your "smell" on all of the bedding and clothing!!! in fact - put a smile on my face just reading it as it completely sounded like something i would do!!!!!

angel --- damn girl, have you talked to your doc about your awfully painful AF??????? that doesn't sound good at all......guess i've been very spoiled in that regard as my AF has always been mostly uneventful!!!

steph --- yes you confused the hell out of me about the whole "cd" thing -- but still, as you know - every piece of info helps!! AND - who better to get the info from than my bff's out here??? just trying to make sure we "do it" and time it all as best as possible.....and as i said before - friend of mine doc advised "when you get surge - call and will have you come in NEXT day" -- and i think is what you did too huh?? don't remember completely...........and MY doc is saying "call the morning you have surge and we'll get you in same day" ----- ??????????????????? oh and i am SO with you on dreadlock dude on idol!!!!!!!!!!! LOOOOOVVVVVEEEDDDDDDDDD that performance w/ the little guitar thingy!! (cuz i cant spell ukalalee????) ha, ha!!

so for me......i'll be "doing it" w/ my dh after taking clomid (on whatever days!!!! still confused....but have some time - so it's all good!) anyway - we're going ahead w/ it on my next cycle which should be end of april, beginning of may.........and while my hopes aren't SUPER-DUPER high -- i still feel like atleast we're doing SOMETHING......we'll see!! is something i'm still excited about......

Hello all

First off I want to say good luck to all of our appt gals today: Chriss - have fun with the mock. That dilator hurts doesn't it? Lara - why don't you just stay in hospital and have the baby that way you don't have to come back home. If we don't hear from you we will assume you took our advice. Hope - Make sure you take pics. YAY!!!!

As everyone else, I am saying a general hi because I have not really taken a good look at everthing on here.

Steph - Are you used to hell again?

Angie - have fun doing it.

Angel - I hope you feel better. Make sure you eat some beef too, if you eat beef. That will help with your iron.

Shantala - I don't think you are weird at all. Especially for hand me down stuff you want it to feel your own and those sheets are always so stiff you have to wash them. You nest however you want, sweetie.

As for me, I am still not experiencing a lot of symptoms. I still have the occastional faintness if I am standing in one place for too long. I have been instructed by DH to go out today, since I am going back to work tomorrow and get some snacks to keep my Blood sugar up. The other night I had one queasy moment and this morning I did as well, but nothing to really call morning sickness. My boobs hurt and they are getting bigger. I would not really say that I am peeing a lot but I have been drinking a lot more water, well flavored waters, because I hate plain water. So that would make me pee more. Although one night I think I went 5 times so maybe I am peeing more.

I almost cried last night. My sister gave me my first baby gift and it was a little blanket that was green and yellow and it had three little frogs (for my three little embies) and it said Best Friends on it. So my sister matched me in that I went out and bought her her first baby gift 7 1/2 years ago with her first pregnancy. So that was special and scary because I am just want to see my baby's heartbeat now. I almost want to sleep with the blanket every night around my belly. I know that is crazy and I won't do it, but I feel really connected now, you know?

Oh well enough about me. I am off today and work the next three days so I will try to catch everyone as they come on.

icsi - sorry....   about you not understanding "lorry"....its the same as a truck i think. you know, them big things people drive for deliveries of bigger things?? are they called trucks across the pond?? sooo glad someone else understands about my "put-my-own-smell-on" thing....  its just scary how alike we are sometimes! hey...sounds like you have some fun coming up (once you've figured out when   )....never ever did clomid, we had to jump straight to ivf/icsi so cant help but i'm sure you'll figure it out!!

stephjim - aaawww, your sister is so sweet. i wouldnt blame you if you slept with that blanket. what we go through is so hard that anything that gives you comfort (and therefore gives your baby/ies comfort is worth a shot! )....thats so sweet. glad someone else understands....like you said, especially the hand me down stuff. not that i mean that in a bad way but its just not the same than your own washed stuff....

OH they all know already. They all knew why I went on vacation and my friends that I work with has let them all know for me. I am a nurse and I can't do any lifting and in my job there is a lot of it, so I need to make sure that they know so they can help. AS well as they can't give me certain patients like tuberculosis and some other diseases that are airborne or like chicken pox or shingles or something. So everyone has been good about helping me when I was going through ivf so I should not have any problem. My boss is on the same page and has even taken me off the schedule the day of my retrieval when I could not find anyone to trade so that I would not have to call in.

So work is fine. I have pretty much told a lot of people now. So my jellybean(s) have to stick and they will.

shantala ---- NOW i get it!!!!! i didn't realize that we actually had different names for SOME things on each side of the pond........guess i just assumed (silly me) that "we" all just had trucks!! ha, ha, ha!!!!! i just love that i always learn something new from my bff's across the way!! yeah - long as we can get the timing right with all this "cycle day" crap!!! we'll be all set!! honestly - is not much more special than any given month for just naturally trying --- just that with dh now taking his zita west swimmer pills -- doc thought would be worth timing things just right while we were waiting for next IVF round.....so we'll see!!!

so tell me --- you also mentioned hanging your clothes out in the sun.... do you guys mostly dry your stuff just hanging on a line outside??? is just very curious to me cuz while SOME people still do that over here --- for the most part (i think that's a fair statement.....) people just throw everything in the clothes dryer!!! my mom and g-ma used to hang stuff on the line --- but that was more because we were POOR when i was a youngin!!

icsi - you crack me up!!!    well, i can assure you i'm rich enough to have a dryer which i often use but i just find that takes the nice smell out of stuff.....generally speaking (i think) people will still hang out on the a nice day if they have the garden to do it but MANY, many people also have dryers and use them. i would say i definitely use my dryer more than i hang out but then thats more coz i'm not usually at home to hang stuff out and we rarely have the weather for it. other ladies in the UK....what do you do??? as for the truck thing....hahahah...glad we sorted that one out!! i think you have a quite good chance with those tablets and clomid...and it means you get another chance before the big one....if that makes sense. at least it must feel like you're doing something worthwhile whilst waiting for the next ivf tmt.

well i hope you didnt' think i was insinuating that you didn't have enough money to own your own dryer --- (although, you didn't have a working toilet for awhile in your house......) ha, ha, ha,ha!!! i just crack myself up!!! ya know - i shouldn't have said "i guess didn't know we had different names for things" --- DUH!!!!!!!!!!! how many times have we had this very conversation on this board about what we call stuff vs. what you call stuff??????????? i'm such a dork sometimes!!! you know -- like PRAMS!! had NO idea what the hell that was til now.....and "randy" -- WTF???!!! that's a boy or girls name --- not a synonym to HORNY!!! ha, ha, ha, ha!!! there i go cracking myself up again.....

OMG --- some days i have zero motivation to do an ounce of work!! and if you hadn't noticed -- today is def one of those days!!!!!!!!! think i would have withdrawel symptoms if i couldn't access this site while at work!!!

Angie - you are hillarious!!!

About Randy - when we went on holiday (US translation = vacation) to the US, one of the hotel staff had a name badge that said Randy something. So I looked at DH with a straight face and said, "look dear, lets ask him - he's Randy". You should have seen the look on DH's face before he realised that I only meant his name was Randy    while I was LMAO. Poor Randy was thoroughly confused. Ok, I admit that it may not sound funny now but thinking about it still cracks us up!

Totally with you on having a non- productive day as you can tell by the number of posts on here. I can't concentrate at all.

Shantala - I too prefer drying my clothes out whenever possible. They smell much fresher that way.

Stephjim - aaawww......your sister is very sweet. If you want to wrap the blanket around your tummy you should do that. The embies will know that apart from their mom and dad, there are others waiting for them too.
