Ghost..or someone...need urgent help...

Hi,
Okay its me stressball again...we were not told to abstain this time...probably my nurse's mistake...she forgot to tell us.....my retrieval is tomorrow...and we had sex this morning...and then realized that we abstained in the perious IVF...called the nurse to double check and she said we were suppsoed to abstain for atleat 3 days....Now to give a background we have mild MF issues...my DH sperm count is right at that point where we might need ICSI...thats what was told to me last time...but last time we had 80% fertilization without ICSI..on my 10 eggs....okay so now what should I do...should I call the nurse and tell her that we did not abstain....and request to do ICSI?????? Please help me.....

Hi Stressball,
I would think you need to call and tell your nurse especially if your husband is going to give a sample tomorrow so they can be better informed.
I dont see how it could affect the odds of ivf/icsi as they select the best swimmers for the procedure.Good Luck with your retrieval!

My husband and I did ISCI and we still needed to abstain.....I would check.

Thank you both...I did tell my nurse...and we had to go for the ICSI...the reason I was concerned is that in history my dh spern numbers come low the second day...we had done IUI back to back...in the past..and thats how I knew...well thanks again..
