Corny- good to hear from you and the fighting beans!
I am sorry to hear things are so darned agonizing right now, but doing as the docs request is so very important(even if it seems extreme) I don't doubt that you are getting tired of the bedrest- nothing worse than someone telling you to stay put when all you want to do is go go go!
take care of you - the weeks will fly by- have any non-active hobbies?- perhaps scrap-booking or framing all of those pesky vacation photos from the last 10 years  hope things keep being great for you all
much love to you

Hey Girls !!

Thanks Loopie for coming over with the good wishes. Is it a boy or Girl??????? I read a wierd stat that a lot of blasts are boys...they're stronger.
It's been crazy this time. The TCM doctor told them I should have 1/4 less meds at least & they ignored him. I was on fire by 6 days & they couldn't slow me down. 4 of my 10 follies were just too big..nuked eggs. I was so angry, but the 3 they did get were much much better quality & I actually did make it to ET..yippee...today.. I know... I'm lying down.
So there's an 8 cell B+, and 2 8Cell C's in there.

Thanks for all that dust & I keep learning so much from you over here. Tammy was it you w/ gestational diabetes? Angelina Jolie had it to, so you're completely in style!! :? My good thoughts to you, I know it's been really tough, but it's all worth it.

Corny hang in there! That must be excrutiating. I'm waiting to hear from Love Bug, her 3d et was today, but she was debating 5 days even though she didn't have enough eggs. So I'm praying.

wow rinnie- awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! did you do a 3dt or 5dt/ blast??? I didn't realise you were already having ET!!! :o :D take it easy and eat some pineapple if you're allowed on TCM( I know there is a wild dietary regimen my friend is on - different before, during and after ovulation)
best to Lovebug and all the May buddies.
I may find out this morning what flavored bean I'm having if the doc does a bit of looking around
be well mommas

Hi all!

I'm still having a mystery baby!!!! s/he was rocking and rolling around so much, and as I wasn't really scheduled for an U/S, it was pretty nice of the doc to look around for about 10 minutes anyway!! saw a nice big nose and a healthy looking spine- from what i could tell - we almost got a look, but it seems we'll have to wait a couple more weeks to see if my bean has indoor or outdoor plumbing  had an AFP bloodscreen for whatever that's for....
other than that- i've not gained any weight this month- but clearly we're growing!!!

Tammy - how are you doing with the glucose?sheesh that sucks! have the docs updated anything for you? How is it that they think you'll be on bedrest for a few mos?
weezie- how was your trip?
rio- good news on the b/w how long are you in Brazil? and great list!!
sug- I would love twin girls! sooo jealous- wild that you already have names picked out
Cinci- what's going on?
katie- i read in my Mayo Clinic Preggo book that sleeping on one's back is ok until 20th week- but i'm not sure why you can't after that???
Gecko- nice name- is it after anyone, or just names you liked? and as for Sassy- check in on her at Sisterhood of the Blue Stilettos - she says the trips are doing great and her ass is getting enormous lol!
mellie- i know what you mean about telling your pharmacist- the ladies at the phlebotomy lab brought me to tears when they were so excited for me!!!I mean I was in there just about every other day for a month!!!

Krista- how are you?
Rinnie and LoveBug- fingers and toes crossed for your BFPs hang in there on the 2WW- grrrrrr
happy mid-May to you all- whew- we're all coming up fast on the half way mark- AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gecko: Sorry about your four-legged loss

Corny: glad to hear the babies are doing well despite the hematoma. I also have to stop working at 20 weeks and go on light bedrest.

Suga: congrats on the girls!

Rio: So glad to hear your BW came back negative. Must be a big relief!

The triplets seem to be growing well. I had some dark bleeding so had a quick trip to L&D 10 days ago. It was from the twins we lost, but my cervix remains long so all looks good. Went on bedrest for another week and glad to be vertical again... at least for a little bit. Still having US every two weeks for now and developmentally all three look good. Now Peri thinks we are having 2 boys and a girl! Since they will deliver the babies by 34 weeks, I will technically be half way through my pregnancy this weekend (ok, if you don't take into account that I wasn't actually pregnant for the first few weeks... but who is splitting hairs?).

Hello ladies hope all is well this week!

Rio: Congrats on the bw!!!

Sassy: Great for the triplets to be doing so well! Crazy to think half way there!!

Loopie: Tell that baby of yours to calm down! Baby A for me was all over the place to so they really just got a peak for like a minute...I hope I have not gained too much weight this week. I go in Tuesday.

Katie: I did not know about the whole 20 week thing but sleeping on your back cuts off circulation to your limbs and also the baby a little. Plus it probably will get uncomfortable for you. I can no longer sleep on my back because the twins are pushing up my lungs or something and I can not breathe.

Rinnie: Good luck! Fingers crossed!

Okay today is the worst feet day I have had. They are throbbing. I am not getting up for the rest of the night haha. But in other news....I felt a baby kick!!! It was a definite kick! Also, it is weird that I can feel baby A move a lot (since I know where they are now) and Baby B does not move hardly ever. I have to ask the doctor if this is normal.

Anyone else abnormally thirsty ALL the time? I can not get enough of things to drink. Bad thing is I want coke slurpees a lot!

Loopie-I was afraid mine was going to be too active too...but turned out to be a little girl! I was in total shock because I thought she was a boy from ET.

I am finally feeling better this week. Last week I was hospitalized because they thought I might have spinal meningitis. 2 spinal taps later and I was cleared. They still don't know what caused me to have a fever on and off for 3 days. Pair that with an extremely stiff neck and severe headache and everyone gets excited. It took a whole week for me to feel better.

Congrats to everyone on their little boys/girls!!

Well, I had an eventful Saturday afternoon/evening! I had to go to the triage for labor and del. because I was having cramps and spotting. After 7 hours of being there I finally saw the doctor after they got the results of my ultrasound. Everything looks great. Two healthy girls cervix is closed. THEN WHY AM I SPOTTING?!?!!? So he just said to take it easy. No house work no walking around too much. Not complete bed rest but pretty much almost so since I can not do anything. So Tuesday I have my reg. OB appt. and will learn what to do there as far as resting goes. So no work Monday or Tuesday which is nice! I am happy that summer vacation is almost here for me so I dont have to worry about work. Said the cramping could just be round ligament or Braxton Hicks but....I dunno. It was just weird. We were about to go and see a movie tonight and when I went to the bathroom before heading in, I noticed the blood and started to freak out. So I run out crying saying we have to go! Poor husband! But all is fine so that is great!

For me, you never know how much you love your little babies until you think that they may be taken from you. I know now that I do have an attachment to our babies and do not want to lose them!

Ok, enough of me ranting and raving. Hope you ladies did not have such an eventful weekend but a great one still!

Sugabeanz - That's scary. Glad that you and the little ones are all ok.

Rio - So exciting that you felt a kick! I can't wait to feel that.

Sassy - Glad to hear that your babies are doing well. Congrats on making the halfway mark! :D

Loopie - How far along are you? Waiting to find out the baby's sex is hard!

Gecko - I'm sorry to hear about your dog. I hope you and dh are feeling better soon.

Corny - The names you picked sound great! Glad to hear that your little ones are doing well and I hope the bedrest gets easier.

All's well with us. We had an obgyn appt last week and the baby's heartbeat was good (in the 150's). The bad news is that they couldn't schedule our big ultrasound until June 9th! I'll be 20 (almost 21) weeks! I thought we'd know the baby's sex before that. I really want to know.

Mellie - It is soooo hard to wait to find out the sex!!! The 9th will be here before you know it. Glad to know your little one is doing well.

Sugabeanzs- Oh how scary! I am glad to know that your little ones are doing ok. I had some spotting early on and it is so scary. You are right, you just don't know how attached you are to your little ones until they are threatened. Wait until they are born. I have a feeling that I will be the most overprotective mom in the world!

Wishluck (godmommie) - It is sooo good to hear from you! I am glad you are doing ok and that you and DH are healing. We haven't heard from Hoekey in a while but I have the feeling that she is watching over us like you are. How are the home improvements going?

cinci - I am sorry you were in the hospital, but very glad that you didn't have meningitis. How are you feeling now?

rio - You are making us all jealous!!!! I would LOVE to be swimming in the ocean in Brazil! I am glad you are having a wonderful vacation. You missed our first heat wave in California. It was almost 100 degrees in San Francisco on Thurs. and Friday. Yuck! I live on the peninsula and it was over 100 - and we don't have air conditioning. It is lovely today though. Only 78 degrees..... I think I will get some much needed yard work done.

Thanks everyone for all the good wishes about our beloved dog, Lucy. I just couldn't stand being alone in the house and started cruising the shelters, but had no luck. We ended up calling about an online ad for a family that had bichon/poodle mix puppied and we got one. We picked him up on Tuesday. He is very sweet, but active and a chewer. I haven't had a puppy since I was 17 years old, so I have been very busy with puppy training. He is only 2 pounds right now but should get to about 10 pounds. We named him Ozzie. I am in puppy love!!!!!!!! With any luck he will be trained before our son arrives.....

Have a wonderful weekend everyone.

Gecko - I am bummed I am missing the heat wave, usually our spring/summer in the peninsula is about 60F and foggy :( We leave today, so bummed! Are you using UCSF for any of your exams? Ozzie sounds darling! Give him a big kiss for me!!!!
Mellie - sorry you have to wait to find the sex!!! Do you have a hunch?
Suga - sorry about your scare, the ultra sounds make me feel more connected, sometimes I forget I am pregnant! But my friends say that you get more and more connected after 5 months. I am getting kicks all the time now and those are great!
Wish- thank you for checking on us, you are a wonderful Godmother to all of our little beans! Glad to hear you and DH are busy and doing well. Let us know when you decide to give it a try again and we will all send you some extra special baby dust!!!
Cinci - you poor thing, how high was the fever? Glad you are feeling better!
Corny - how are you?
Mia - how have you been?
Weezie - how was your cruise with DH?
Sassy - glad to hear the triplets are great!

Anyone else notice that their bump changes sizes during the day? In the morning, dh and I look at my tummy and wonder where it went? Then, by the time I'm home from work there's a small bump. It's not enough for maternity clothes yet, but it looks like a small bump. Then, next morning we can't find it again.

So strange. Anyone else find their bump coming and going? Anyone know why?
