Ok. I worked up the nerve and took the digital at 6pm. It was POS-I-TIVE!!!!!! Thank goodness the beta is tomorrow because I'd go broke buying any more of these tests!

Ha - Iremember analyzing those damn tests! I would take them into different rooms, take them outside, you name it - just trying to figure out how dark the line was, was it getting darker, am I as crazy as I appear, should I throw them away or is that bad luck, how many more should I take, could this really be true....yep, I was making myself NUTS!!!

Oh - just saw your other post!!! YEAH!!

Ok, I am still laughing. You are so pulling the stunts I did - STOP testing!!! You are going to be like me and have them all lined up on the counter in the bathroom and your husband will end up like mine and say, "For God's sakes, the bathroom is starting to stink. Can we throw some of those away???" Ha ha!! I took pictures of them first and they are now in Noah's baby book!! :)

Ok, I am so anxious to know!!! I just think this has to be IT!! It does!! It does!!! Please post as soon as you know!!! :D

I will tell you more about my testing tomorrow but basically it is normal to have this type of testing at this point in your pregnancy to test for gestational diabetes, although I am not expceting that I will have a problem. Enough about me - this is about YOU! :)

GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!

:) Tina

Hahahahahaha! I think I am your dark haired twin out here in NY! My tests (I took 5 just today  ), are all lined up together in a very neat, very straight row and all labeled with date and time!!!

My husband thinks I am officially nuts. Mind you, I did not want to POAS this time around. HE did! And I caved. He couldn't believe when he came home today and saw that I had done 3 more tests while he was gone for a few hours!

Also, I threw a test away this morning because I thought I did it wrong. We weren't going to count it as a "real test'. Then when he wasn't looking, I ran back, grabbed the test, and put it in the lineup!!!

Here's hoping I can sleep tonight!!!!

Ha ha!!! You are my twin!! :) If you recall, my husband was beginning to think I had gone MAD and I told him, "Baby - go get me a stick in the yard because right now, I might just pee on that to see what happens"!!!! HA HA HA!! It can make you CRAZY! I cracked up on the one in your garbage that you got back out!!! That is so something I would do!!! When I went back to buy another box at the local pharmacy, the chick behind the counter had recognized me from a few days earlier and said, "Did the other box not work"? Hello, little girl (she looked about 17), CLEARLY you have never had FERTILITY problems, now BACK OFF!!! All I ended up saying to her was, "Well, I am just looking for a second opinion". I laughed the whole way home. I thought at that moment that maybe I had done enough of those damn tests.

Now, try to get some sleep!!! Ha - who am I kidding?? I think I laid awake all night before my Beta!!!

Ok, I am off to bed. Again, GOOD LUCK!!!!!

You two are so funny!!!
I cannot believe the numbers of tests you guys have taken. I had limited myself to once a day and I thought I was bad! Now I feel I could have tested so much more and still been okay! :)

Good luck today 4ourbaby! I can't wait to hear the big number!!!!

Keep us posted!

Well girls, the beta is in. A measly 34 point something. The nurse didn't sound too positive. My progesterone level is good. Whatever that means. I stay on the meds and get second beta on Thursday. Life couldn't suck more for me right now. My last chemical started with a 28 beta, so I'm not that much higher.

Damn, damn, damn. I am shocked. I just knew it was going to be positive news. I am sooooo sorry. It's like it just doesn't make sense. You have been through so much and with so many positive pregnancy tests, how the heck could it be so low?? That just pisses me off. Someone like you who has put so much into this and would make such a great mom - it isn't FAIR!!!

I don't know what to say because I am sure you are so frustrated and just feeling lost right now. I mean, it could still go up, right? I have heard those stories. What did the nurse say???

On no! I am so sorry the number wasn't stronger. I am just in shock as well! Especially with all the HPTs.
I am curious to know what the nurse says too. Were they expecting it to be over 100 today? My clinic tests 16 days after transfer and expects that. It seems that this is only day 14 for you, right?
I don't know what else to say either. I just wish that number was higher.
I am so sorry.

Hang in there.
We are hear if you need to cry, vent, scream, or just talk about the season finale of House to keep your mind off things until Thursday.

Take care.

Hi Girls!

Thanks for your sympathies and kind words! The nurse didn't say much except that it was a positive test but they are concerned because the beta level is low. I tested 14 days after transfer, which seems to be the norm with this clinic. She didn't tell me what level they hoped it would be at by now, and I didn't ask. I was too shocked and devastated! It was like a really bad dream. All I kept saying was "ok" and "thank you". Like a zombie I was!

I'm going to POAS again tomorrow am and possibly pm. If the line is a lot lighter or gone all together, I am going to just show up on Wednesday. No need to prolong everything. I might just show up on Wednesday anyway.

I do hope that I am in that small percentage that, for whatever reason, starts out with a low beta and goes on to have a successful pregnancy! It's just a poopy day today and hard to stay positive!

Thanks for listening, though. I appreciate it! xoxoxoxoxxo

Hi Guys,

I am trying to catch up on my posts. I am so sorry to be late, but it has been a rough couple of days for a couple of reasons.

My beta dropped to 15.4, so I am having another "chemical pregnancy". Also, my grandmother has been admitted to the hospital. She was originally supposed to have a pacemaker/defibrillator installed, but they have to delay the surgery until at least Tuesday due to other health risks.

I am so physically and emotionally exhausted. I was with her all day yesterday and today. She is very strong, but so upset to remain in the hospital. She may be there until next week.

I am her 1st grandchild and we lived with her until I was 7. To say we are very close would be a vast understatement.

I really am sorry to cut this so short, but I can barely even comprehend or see what I am typing right now. I promise to keep you updated as soon as I get a break.

You girls provide me with so much strength and positivity. I can't even really express how much your friendship means to me. Thank you for being so supportive and expressing your concern. It is appreciated more than you know.

I hope you are all doing well and I will let you know how I am doing as soon as I can.

Thank you! xoxoxoxoxo

Hi, there. I am so, so sorry. When it rains, it pours, huh? I have been checking to see if you had posted and thought the news must not be good since we had not heard from you. Your news brought tears to my eyes. I just don't know what to say. It just isn't fair.

I will keep you and your grandmother in my prayers and please know we are thinking about you.

I wish I knew the right words to say, but there just aren't any. Just know we are here for you. When you have time and things are a little easier, do me a favor and check out the thread called "Sisterhood of the Blue Stilletos" on the General Forum. Those girls are such awesome women and many of them have been to hell and back to get pregnant. Vicky and Angie both went through IVF 4 times and are now almost ready to deliver. Sassy is a whole other case - she has been through like 7 cycles and is now pregnant with triplets. They never gave up (when honestly, I don't think I could go through all they have) They always gave me inspiration and just are the kind of girls I would be friends with if they lived here. Their strength and determination are amazing...and they are just so amazingly funny, too. All the women in that group are just wonderful.

Ok girl, know we are here for you and sending you love and hugs from Texas....
