5 of 7 fertilized using conventional methods....no ICSI...YAY!!! I'm proud of my husband's 'boys' LOL I got the Crinone gel :( Some of it came out when I left the office, and more came out when I went to the bathroom so I'm kind of worried about it's effectiveness. I don't understand why we can't put it in at night :( seems that would be a more logical choice. She said that I'd probably be a day 3...so Saturday here I come LOL

Sonu Hope the AF fairy visits you....I know she really had me waiting there for a while.

Heather How are you? Your trip sounds fun...we don't have anything planned until September...it seems sooo far away. Good luck with your appt tomorrow :) And I agree, I hate that our little group has lost most of it's posters....makes me sad that the only 'God centered' group I'm posting on and it's losing people left and right.

Nicaliw How is everything going with you? Any guesses based on that heart rate of what it is? I've heard that higher heart rates mean one or the other...but I can't remember which LOL Cancun will be so fun....I can't believe you're already going to the OB!!! Time flies.

KBat How are you?

Wishful27 Any updates on your end?

Waiting on the RE to call and let me know for sure how many made it overnight...and if I come in tomorrow :)

I took my second HPT this morning and it came up the very faintest positive...so looks like that trigger shot is making it's way out of me...YAY! I can't believe how quickly it leaves your system, I took it Monday night so today is the 5th day.

I know that God is in control, he's making my decision for me on how many to transfer. I think I told you ladies but in the beginning we (husband and I) were agreed that we would donate any leftover embryo's to another couple. While I really really would love to do that, something in my heart was just still stuck on 'holding on' to those embryo's myself. I know I'd never use them again....but adopting out one of your own started becoming a real thing and it started to weigh heavy on my heart. I know now why God has chosen to only give us 5 embryo's that fertilized, and I know that he will take care of my decisions for me....so I'm at peace with that and feeling SOOOOooo much better :)

I'm quite nauseous today though, not sure what medicine it could be since I'm still on Doxycyclin and Medrol and the Crinone progesterone as well. My bb's started hurting again today too....I got a few days away from that when I stopped stims, I guess it's back because of the progesterone and I should be happy, that means it's doing it's job :)

Well, I'll update everyone as soon as RE calls! Pray for my embabies!

Sonu- So glad that AF finally showed up. I am sure it was that extra special jig I did for you. Just so you know, I don't just dance for anyone 8)

Indie- I hope the dr. calls soon. Sometimes I think waiting on their calls is almost as bad as the 2ww. My dr. is usually good about calling, but still...
So, how many are you thinking of transfering. I remember last year when we did this, I sort of wanted to do 3. Mom just about had a heart attack when I said that. HOwever, the dr. didn't give us a choice, he only put back 2. So.....

WEll, I went to the dr. this morning for bw and us. First thing out of his mouth was uh oh. NOt exactly what I wanted to hear. I have a rather large endometrum on my ovary. However, it was present last year. I asked dr. if he thought I should have it removed and he said no. The problem with removing it is we would have to take almost the whole ovary. SO, he said as long as I wasn't in horrible pain, he recommended just leaving it.
I also asked him what he wanted my lining at. He said he would be really happy with a 6. I told him I thought it was supposed to be at an 8, he said 6 was good enough. Fortunatly it was right inbetween. It was a 7. YEA!!!
WE have 4 eggs left over from last cycle. Two are frozen together and were graded at an A-. Then the other 2 eggs were frozen in separate vials. Both of them are B+. We are going to thaw the two that are together and pray that they survive. He said there is a 66% chance of survival. Please pray that we fit in those percentages. If one does not survive, then we will have to talk and decide what to do.
I asked about losing their quality when they freeze and he said they might, they might now. SO...
I also asked about when they froze them (I feel a littel more knowlegeable after being on this board for a year now). THey froze them at day 3, so they did not make it to blast. He said they always freeze on teh day that you do the transfer. So, since I did a three day transfer that is when they froze them.
Just makes you wonder why so many people use so many different techniques.
Anyhow....now I have to wait until 2:00 for bw to come back to start my progesterone. They have a special formula for this so I can only get it from their pharmacy. So, now we sit around in the motel room unitl the call comes in...only about 4 more hours. UGH!!!
Anyhow....we just pray that everything works out. God is so in control and that is what I told him when I was praying this morning. HE already knows if this procedure is going to work, so now I just have to be patient and see what he has/had in store for me.

Will keep you guys updated.

Heather Congrats on getting through the U/s and I'm glad that you don't have to have anything removed! Good luck with your decision....not a light one at all. I'm trying to rely on God to make my decision for me tomorrow. The doctor initially said that the max on day 3 for my age would be 3....so I was fine with that. All 5 made it overnight, so she said they would discuss it with me in the morning before the transfer and 45 minutes after our meeting I'll be PUPO!!!

Just an update on my situation... I got af today. Not really too surprising since I have been totally pms-ing--cranky, tired, craving chocolate and having a little cramping here and there.

It's really getting fustrating. I will continue for one more month doing tcm, then i suppose it's time to move on w/ my life. Even though it's a lot less expensive than doing ivf out of pocket, it still is running me a couple of hundred a month--a bargain compared to paying out of pocket, but still an expense considering the expense of everything else. I know that this tcm is a long shot, but I figured I would have nothing to lose. I really shouldn't complain because I had 3 IUI's and 6 IVF that were covered by insurance and most aren't that lucky to do these many procedures. I will start doing the whole ovulation thing again and I would suspect that I will ovulate right around June 19 or 20th. My next af should arrive around July 3 or 4. My periods are starting to get back to normal. I used to be pretty much around 28 days. Since my last treatment in Feb., I've been about 3 days late. This time I'm only one day late. But since there's really no scientific proof that tcm work--only hope and faith that something would happen-- I guess there's no reason to pursue after July....

I hope you all have a terrific week-end. It's been cool and rainy here, but tomorrow it's going up to 88 and then Sun and Mon in the 90's. I guess it's time to get out those air conditioners from the attic.

Heather, thats good news about your lining. You're so close now! Interesting how doctors have so many differing opinions on the lining thickness. I'm living proof that your lining is plenty thick enough. I read that the docs at SIRM won't do a transfer unless your lining is 10mm!!!!!! Well, we'll show them! I also think that since you got pregnant with a 3 day transfer last time your 3 day frosties should work out just the same for you. I can't wait to hear that you have a BFP!

Indieblue - Best wishes for the transfer...keeping the fingers crossed for you.

Heather - wishing you a safe and healthy thaw. Thinking of you.

Carolyn - I don't want to sound low, but I think I am repressing myself too much. Today I am really down...:(

Life has been extremely melodramatic for me. First I forgot to take my Lupron yesterday morning and took it at night. Then I went to see the doc, and thought would start with Gonal F and Menopur from today, for today being the 3rd day of my periods. My E2 level is just 57 which seems to be low, and the doc has put me on hold till Monday and I go in for E2 test again on Monday to check whether I can start my stimming medicines.

I am afraid, my cycle would get canceled.

I think I am going into depression...amnesia is one of the signs, nothing seems to be going right.

Dear Smita

Thanks dear!!!
How are you doing, dear? Did you succumb to the pressure of HPT? Anyways...June 17 is not faraway. Your body is signaling towards BFP and I really pray to God that Dhurvaa gets her sibling. When I had my BFP, I had a strange twitchy sensation around my naval area with all the other classic symptoms.

I know its just a phase and it will pass too. But the matter of concern is my estrogen level which is high as it should be in the follicular phase. They have called me back to the clinic with meds which means that the cycle could be canceled. Anyway, whatever happens, happens for good. I believe in that. But I also believe that my body clock is also ticking.
