My follow up

Post by gem »

Hi Guys
Didnt know where to post our follow up news so I thought I'd start a new tread.
After our 3rd fail on 31st Jan we went back for our follow up yesterday and we came away very happy our last go was our nhs go and we thought that was our nhs go but they informed us yesterday that we can have another go on the nhs go because we live in Barnsley our town is the only one that allows couple to have 2 goes if we lived in Sheffield or Rotherham etc.. we wouldnt get our second nhs go which is really sad for those who live in towns that arent allowed 2 goes, but we are so pleased.
Any way the dr was very positive and said because we had a bio-chemical pregnancy he couldnt see why it wouldnt work neat time.
They want me to have a normal af which will be here in about 2weeks then we will start a fresh ivf cycle on the af after which will be about end of March beg of April.Hopefully 4th time luckly.
We have booked to go to Benidorm on Tues while Fri we just wanted to get away for a few days to relax and spend some quality time together.

Sorry for rambling just wanted to tell you all our news
Love gemxxx

Hi Gem,

that sounds like a really positive outcome, albeit from a sad beginning.

Great that the doctor is also being so optimistic. Enjoy your break in Spain. If you fancied minus 11, I can recommend Norway!!

Debra.

gem glad your follow up went so well, its always a good start when
u come away positive.
I always found a holiday away after a -itve helped me, gives u
a bit of time together away from everything, which u realy do need.
I realy do hope its 4th time lucky for u, (as it was for me).
Enjoy your holiday. 8)

Hi Gem,
Just briefly to say I am very glad your nhs try is not the last one : i was just finding out how many more ivfs i could do on my insurance when i got pg (still not used to it)- wish you the same! as i said before it's a really good sign that it was a positive last time. it's also great that you doctor is optimistic - mine were so super cautious that i ended up with very little hope at some point. luckily I joined this site :) so stay positive1 i will be following your progress,
love,
juliana
