gina - like I posted to Amber earlier. Your E2 level is kind of high. I have heard that the RE's don't like it over 3000 and yours will rise higher after the HCG shot. Just be careful about OHSS. Drinks lots of fluids like gatorade and eat lots of protien. I hear that helps the most. Weigh yourself and if you start to gain a lot of weight, let your RE know. There is a post about OHSS so you might want to check that out. I don't want to scare you but I have read about lots of women that get OHSS and it doesn't sound pretty.

Good Luck on your ER. Sound like you should get lots of eggs.

Bonnie, I had a IUI on June 16th. On June 30th I POAS and in the dim morning light it was negative. My husband claimed to see a faint positive line in bright light but I wrote it off as the HCG, I didn't even see the line anyway. I think he made it up. Anyway, I decided to try again in two days to see what it could have been if anything. Knowing if it was stronger, it was a pregnancy, if it were weaker (nothing) it was the HCG. It was stronger and I had a beta that day to find my HCG was 235! Yes, two days later, 235. It was twins. I will pray for you. Miracles happen.

Hey everyone,

Wow such a lot has happened. I have been checking now and again but haven't really felt much like posting as i am still in limbo over this cycle. My clinic 'isnt sure' whether or not i can cycle now or as they suggest 'just wait till January' Still so mad over this but i guess i will know in the next day or so. If we are still on track i will have to start the bcp's by Friday at the latest, otherwise i guess it will be Jan.

Just thought i would take a minute to say welcome to all the new ladies here on the board, and i'm pleased to see everyone is moving along nicely, and there have beeen some good fert reports too.....

Chris thanks for asking after me, i'll be in touch as sson as i know, just feel really let down by this clinic right now and of course, my PMA has taken a nose dive.

Bonnie, Sorry to hear about your hpt, praying for a BFP, stay positive and wait to hear from the doctor.

gina, I got a 65/90 before and fainted couple of times. For me that was low compared to my normal blood pressure 70/110. But as far as you feel good and your doctor told that fine, you will be ok. Some people have that range of BP. I'm not sure your estrogen level is very high. In my first ET I had estrogen ~2800. I had total of 13 follicles and 2 of them was 24mm on the last US before HCG. My doctor asked me to weigh everyday after HCG.

gals, today was a really a bad day for me. I was eagerly waiting for my FET this month. I had my appointment with RE today and he suggested to do the FET in december. I spotted for 4 days before I get my period on 11/1. I have heavy bleeding and passed on at doctor's office. They checked my blood pressure and I was normal.
This is my new protocol. I'm starting estrace and aspirin on 11/7. I'll have a b/w on 11/17 and anothe b/w and US on 11/21. I may start progesteeron on 11/26 and my FET will be in the first week of December.
I have no BCP, and I won't get a period in november !!!. Is anyone have gone through this protocol before?

so i posted this on another thread (and thanks to those here who replied), and i'd like further input: do you stay on progesterone after BFP and for how long?

please let me know, as my clinic says after bfp they'll take me off it, but many others stay on til 7th week of PG or 12th wk of PG. I'M WORRIED MY CLINIC WON'T LOOK AFTER ME. so i'm thinking of either asking them to change their mind and give me more, or seeing my OBGYN or GP and asking them for it!! so please give me your protocal re; progesterone and any data you have on 'why'.

7 eggs fertilized so we have 7 embies that yesterday day 2 were all 2 and 4 cell so so far so good ill get another reportr this am on grading..

If we have lost a bunch or they dont look good may transfer today but trying to get to blast and go to day 5

NY4thtry, that's a great fert report. Hopefully those 7 will continue to divide and you'll end up with some blasts. Will be looking forward to your next report with grading.

Karen, I think my clinic plans to keep me on the progesterone (3 suppos a day) if I get a BFP for several weeks. If not, I'm supposed to stop and will get AF. That's surprising you were told you would stop.

Detroit, sorry you had a bad day. I haven't had a similar experience before, but some of the other girls may have some insight. I have found that in the past with my clinic, I had to stay on top of my own care because there was a detail or 2 that slipped through the cracks with them. It's good that you are questioning your protocol here.

Kas, glad to hear from you. That sucks you are still waiting to hear your plan, but hopefully you can still start the BCP's Friday. Keep us posted. I'm hoping you can start sooner.

Bonnie, I totally understand turning off your phone. No one can really know what we're all going through. It's so easy for people to throw out advice or comments when they truly don't understand. Wishing the best for you.

Gina, whoa, you have a lot of activity going on in there. Good for you. It sounds like you will have a lot to work with for ER. How did you get the sizes? Did you write them down or did your clinic give them to you? I've never been able to get such detailed info although it would have been helpful for me to know.

Hello to all of my other friends out there. Well, I'm almost there, just one more day! I'm already scared to get the phone call from my RE. Will I be able to handle the news, no matter what it is? Just need to keep the PMA.

I know right! The 14th can't get here fast enough! I'm so nervous all day worrying about those little embies in there. I managed to change my work schedule this week so I could work from home and take it easy but I do have class tonight in the city that I'm worried about. Should I drive (in the rain) or take the train - neither sound that great to me. If I hadn't already have missed 2 classes (once when my Dad passed away and once for a holiday) I'd probably skip it. My RE approved me going but I don't know... Ugh. Is this what every day during this 2WW is like?

Anyway, good luck with your results! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you!!!

Karen My clinic requires I stay on Pio shots after BFP for several weeks. I have not heard of clinics stopping it immediately upon a BFP before.....hope this helps. Ask your clinic about their reasoning and scientific evidence for taking this approach with you.

Karen - I would definatly ask your clinic if you can stay on longer. if they say "no", I will send you some PIO. From all the ladies I have seen on this board and the other board I am on, there has been no one that automatically stops PIO after a BFP.

Robin - You still have a ways to go. Hang in there, you will make it. Don't let the 2ww drive you insane. I don't see why you can't go to school, though I know if it was me I would go and not get a darn thing out of the class because I would only be thinking of my BFP.

Kas - i am keeping my fingers, toes, arms, anyting you can think of, crossed that you can start in December.

I will do more catching up lately. I took the day off of work and DH and I are going to enjoy the last sunny warm day. Going for a long ride in my Jeep with the top down. I just got back from my vaginal probe, blood sucking. U/S looked good, now I just have to wait for the results of my bloodwork.

hi everyone i was wondering if anyone could tell me where they ordered their meds from. i went in to doc today and they said i have at least another 7-9 days on meds. i have already been on them 7 days. i cant afford anything else with this whole process so if anyone knows where i can order from that is cheap please let me know. also has anyone else out there had to be on stim drugs this long.
