First IUI- success stories please

Hey ladies, i'm taking birth control to bring on my period that i rarely get!! and then i start my first IUI with gonal F injectables- did 2 clomid cycle follicles didnt grow past 8mm...

HOpeing and praying this is it! No insurance so i cant afford IVF!

Any success on first iui?
And what about responding to Gonal F? canceling? alot of follies?

Just need some support!

Just wanted to say goodluck for your cycle. I didn't get a BFP on my 1st cycle but did on my 2nd. My clinic wouldn't do the iui if I had more than one leading follie and two smaller ones.

Good luck on your cycle. I switched from IVF to IUI & got pregnant the first time & I'm 43. Pretty crazy...anything can happen.
I had 3 follies that were mature when I triggered.

I came to my clinic to do IVF. They forced me to try IUI first for three cycles. The third one worked, then I miscarried. I tried IVF out of frustration, it failed. Then I did IUI because I was broke and it worked on the first time this round! The first three were IUI and clomid, the first IUI after my failed IVF was with gonanatropins because I overcame my fear of needles. Best of luck to you. It does take longer but as long as your tubes are open and you are ovulating you stand a good chance. I feel my IVF was a mistake and now I am paying for it. My embryo quality was bad and I was strongly discouraged so my last cycle was hopless in my mind but also stressless.
