I got my christmas present...my beta doubled to 433. I go back next Thursday for 1st ultrasound!

Annie - Congrats!!! What an awesome Christmas present.... So happy for you!!!
So did you feel any symptoms? I am 5dp5dt and don't feel anything... maybe a little bit crampy which makes me feel like AF could be coming. But other than that, I feel nothing except that my butt is REALLY sore from the PIO shots.

NHY - Congrats on your 8 fertilized embies. Yahoo! That is a great #.

Annie973... Congrats on your beta #s!!!! I have the same question as KMHTTC. Did you have any symptoms??

Welcome Espinoza to the thread! This is my 2nd IVF as well. I'm in the 2ww with my beta scheduled Jan. 5th.

KMHTTC... when is your beta scheduled? Are you going to POAS??

I only had some cramping and was a little light headed at times. Other than that nothing!

Ann D. - My beta is scheduled for Dec. 31st... New Year's Eve... hopefully I will not be having any cocktails that night!!!! I am on pins and needles over here...
I am not sure about the POAS. I didn't last time and I got a BFN so I was thinking that maybe I would this time to change up my luck perhaps. But I've only gotten BFN"s on those things so I am a bit afraid of them

How about you - are you going to POAS?

KMHTTC.... I don't know if I'm going to POAS. I've never done it before either of my beta tests and I don't want to get my hopes down if I get a negative result. I really should be getting my beta the weekend before Jan 5th; but the nurse says they don't do betas over the weekend. I don't like that I have to wait that long!

Your beta seems a lot earlier than mine. I had two blasts transferred on the 23rd so I'm just driving myself crazy now because I'm wondering why my beta isn't earlier, like Jan 2nd. This seems like cruel and unusual punishment, doesn't it??? LOL!

Last night I had some cramp-like discomfort. I am taking that as a good sign. I haven't had any implantation spotting as I read other women on this board have had so I was a bit bummed. It's so funny how we get so upset if we don't feel any of these uncomfortable feelings.

Hi everyone,

I'm obviously new to the board, but have posted a few things here and there over the past few weeks. My wife went in for her 2nd IVF transfer on December 11th. We went in for pregnancy test on the Monday the 22nd and came back at 681, went back on the 24th for another test and the numbers went up to 1691. We transferred 3 embryos and we go back on January 8th for our ultrasound.

Today I started spotting, just a little, but spotting never-the-less. I have been feeling like AF is coming for 2 days. I've taken a few HPT's that have all been negative. I guess that I'll find out on Monday. There is some hope but not much.

Ann D... Your beta does seem like a long wait, but what do I know. He he. I transferred 2 blasts at day 5 on 12/21 and my beta is on 12/31. Maybe you could call your place and see if they will take you early.
I am still feeling no symptoms other than some light cramps every now and again. I also have some clear discharge... I know TMI...so I keep waiting to see AF. This is torturous!!!!

dagnymichelle - I am sorry to hear that you feel AF coming. I know exactly what you are talking about. On my first IVF, I could feel AF fighting to come for 3 or 4 days before my beta. NTL, do your best to keep up the PMA because cramping is also a sign of pregnancy. I will say extra prayers for you tonight - your beta is tomorrow?

To all: Welcome to those new to the board - and for the others, I'm sorry I've been MIA for the past few days (week?). It has been a busy time with my nephew in the hospital. Thank you all for your prayers, I know they helped with his recovery. Anyway - I also have a 24 month old niece and as you can imagine - my sister (their mother) needed all the help she could get.

In addition to the wonderful news that my nephew is now at home and doing fine, I have now realized that the 2ww for me has flown by quicker than expected (selfishly pleased). My beta is Wednesday and I haven't had time to think about symptoms or anything. Maybe having my mind distracted will help with a BFP??!!

I'm way behind with the board, so I'll try to update the list now.
