ITS THE DAY OF OUR LIVES --

My life seems like a soap opera.
So just got a call from the nurse. Seems my FSH level is 6 and get this my E@ level is_________ 32 - I have never had an E2 level that low. So we would all like to jump up and say HOOORAYYY but can't. During the u/s the tech saw something in my uterine lining so now they want to do one of those hypsinoplasy (sp) or whatever it is called with the blue dye stuff. i had one done a few years ago and it is no big deal. Problem is that right now AF has a really good flow going so don't know if we can to it tomorrow and get the ball rolling. Now I am waiting for the RE's office to call back to find out forsure.

Chris, that's awesome about your low E2 level! Here's hoping you can get that dye test done and over with tomorrow and continue on your merry way. And yet another hurdle but you are getting there. We'll be waiting for your next update!

NY, hang in there! Easier said than done huh? So I didn't realize you go Monday already for your first beta. Will you get definite results then? Grow embies grow!!

Kas, wow I didn't realize you hadn't shared your news about your having triplets yet with your family. They really will be surprised! That's interesting about the boys on your DH's side of the family. It could be time to mix it up with some girls now. Have fun at your can tomorrow! I also go for an OB checkup so am anxious to see how things are coming along.

Gina, hope you have fun tomorrow too seeing your little one. Keep us posted on the murmer and what you find.

NY - Only a few more days. Are you going to POAS? You have such a great shot this time. I so hope that this cycle will be your final one and you end up taking a baby home in 9 months.

As far me, My RE actually called me. Which is such a surprise since I never saw my old RE. Anyway, he believes I have a polyp and want to get it taken care of before I cycle again. So we are going to try and do that tomorrow. If eveything goes OK then I can start stims. YEAH!!!

To Have Fun How did the procedure go today??? I'm guessing you are resting and/or sleepy if they gave you any meds, but if you get to read this today, i hope you feel ok and that they took care of that pesky polyp so you can get going!!!!

I had my scan today and everything looking great, all 3 are measuring between 3 and 6 days ahead (!) so my EDD had been moved up. All heartbeats were between 158-164 and all of them moved around a lot!! One looked like he was just punching and punching with his little arms, he didnt stop the whole time.

I will try to put a photo on later, its tough to see all 3 at once - the biggest one is nearest the cervix and the other 2 are sitting on top, kind of a pyramid of babies. Wow i finally hit me that we have been trying so long and hard i thought i would never have a baby at times and now i am having 3....

Also i have been having a lot of severe pains on my ovary/groin area which i put down to constipation issues, although reducing the pio has relieved this A LOT. Apparantly this is not the case, RE says its round ligament pain, and let me tell you it grips you like !!!!!!!!!!

I get to reduce all my PIO again and i finish all meds next week

Now i need to get packing.........

Hello ladies, things are good...I had a scan today, Baby C is gone now officially but I have a new reason for my bleeding, going on three weeks now of spotting...I have placenta previa, this early it usually cures itself.

The placenta is covering the cervix, it is the least of my concerns after the rollercoaster I have been on. It may grow outward with my belly and uncover the cervix, the "cure" is a C section down the line but my goal is to have a living child, how they get here is nothing to be concerned about. At least there is a "cure" anyway, all is on track...even after discovering this today I am feeling a bit more confident.

Crown to Rump 22 CM HB = 166
Crown to Rump 21 CM HB = 172

All my best, I hope the weekend flys by for you NY.

well kas that's very exciting. having 3 babes and seeing them on u/s like that makes it so real.. i'm very happy for you- instant, complete family (unless you want more?)

chris- i too hope that nasty polyp is gone. you're so close this time...i believe this thread is full of good vibes and your perseverance will pay off. you are a trooper.

babyhope- what a great attitude you have about this placenta previa. and why shouldn't you? - a c-section isn't much compared to everything else we've been through and like you said, it may resolve itself anyways.

ny- how you holding up before the beta? what's your gut feeling? my gut feeling for you is good.

so thanks for everyone's kind thoughts after my melt down the other night. i'm better now, even though my work day today was brutal. but now i have 4 days off! and my DH left yesterday til sunday night, and his dad is gone for 2 weeks. so just me and the cat !!! woohoo!

and i heard the heartbeat today- 150 bpm. thank god. needed that reassurance. i think i need to go clothes shopping this weekend- pants are tight and need some longer, looser shirts. my belly is showing, although it just looks like pudge for now.

lots of love to all, karen

Kas - YEY, you got to see your little beans. I am so happy for you and your DH. Your little ones sound like they are doing wonderful.

babyhope - sorry about the placenta pervia, but like you said it could cure itself and if it doesn't there is always a c-section. Seeing that you are PG with twins alot of those births end up in a c-section anyway so there is no use of worrying. So glad your beans are doing good. Congrats.

Karen - Enjoy the house to yourself for awhile. Sometimes time for yourself is the best thing.

As for me. RE removed a fibroid yesterday. It was about the size of a peanut. He said that the fibroid wasn't causing any problems with me getting PG, but he just wanted to get it out of there. So that is done. The procedure was a little painful with cramping but I lived. Wouldn't really want to do it again. They put a scope in my uterus so I got to see the home of my future bean. Oh and the really good news is that I got to start stims last night. YEY!!!!   I am taking 150u follistim and 75u of menopure. I am going to try and stims slow and steady this time. I am not in any rush. I just want some good quality eggs. Hopefully my 13mm follicle won't cause any problems.

Hope everyone has a good weekend.

To Have Fun Glad the procedure went well, and you are now stimming!!!! SO now you got to start there will be no stopping you!!! Sorry to hear the procedure was rough but after you see those first few follies it will be a distant memory!!! When do you go for your first follie count????

NY Well the weekend will soon be over and it's beta time!!! I hope you are feeling positive about this - i am!!! I have a very good feeling :) BTW my RE changed me to Heparin.... small diabetic needles and $50 per vial which lasts 2 weeks!!!! Also only need to take every other day from now on. He said theres very little difference, lovenox is just 'more convenient' for most people. Hmmm, dont know about you but i'll take the inconvenience of drawing up the dosage to save $300 a week!!!

Babyhope As Karen said, i think a lot of twin births are done by cesarean, and thats totally normal.... like you said, as long as you get your babies out healthy it doesnt matter. Thats my attitude as well, i would much prefer them to come out the traditional way, as my tubal surgery hurt me so much i am pertified to be cut open again, but we do what we have to for our little ones

Karen Enjoy your quiet time !!! You may not get such a quiet time for the next few decades  Wow what a thought......
