Carolyn when i seen you had posted i thought yes hes here but no hopefully he wont be long then you and dh can have him all to yoursleves and you can look at him in oar every single minute i hope everything goes well for you and sis cant wait to see pics of the lil man take care

The suspense is killing me!! What must it be doing to you? Here's hoping your little man starts his journey into the world very soon - what a loving family he has waiting to meet him.

Carolyn,

Are you allowed to be at delivery room while the big event will be happening? I would be going nuts if I were you and would have gone without sister's permission just to try to breath the same air as she does...

Yasmina - yes I will be at the birth. My sister has chosen two birth partners. Her husband and me.

We have been to the hospital to run through how it will work although I know that in reality all that matters is the health and safety of my sister and the baby. Hopefully they will pass him straight to me and I will be able to cut the cord. They hope to allow me and my husband and the little one some time together as soon as he is born and whilst they help my sister through the very last stage. We will see. The main thing is that they are both ok. Part of me would drive to be with her but I also know that I will drive her crazy and that is not good for her or the baby. The last thing she needs to feel is additional stress right now. So I have stayed away for her rather than for me. I will be going crazy where ever I am!!!

Angie - hmmmmm. How grown up your little lady Amelie is getting her hair cut for the first time. Hope that you and she are pleased with the results

It is hard for people to understand what the waiting is like.

I am surprised how hard the last few days/weeks have been. Guess I never thought that it would go on so long as hospital gave us a date last Thursday and my sister has been early/on time with her two. She is getting fed up now and wants to get back to her own life. Will be good for all of us when we have safely got through labour.

Really do hope that my next post will be the one girls!!!!

Wow, I can't believe that its almost time for you to be reunited with your baby! How time flies (well, for us anyway ...... I guess for you it can't go fast enough

). Hope that you get the call soon from your sister. I see that your little man is teasing you already

. Is everything ready at home for his arrival?

Wish your sis has an easy labour, and that you and DH get to hold your son soon enough. Can't wait to hear the news!

Amelie 's haircut went well - my hairdresser said it was the best first baby cut he had ever done - she was sooo good!

Sabi - thank you for checking on me. I have gone from being totally crazy to just resolving myself to the fact that he will not now be here til Tuesday. That is the day that they will induce him. My sister says he is not doing much and that he is just chilled out. Sweep has done nothing. So somehow I have re-focused on next Tuesday

Carolyn - WHOOOHOOOO - 5 weeks today. Everyday is a milestone. Bet you are counting down to the first scan. It is such a delicate period but it is so exciting that you got a first BFP. Go frosties go. We love our snow babies

Angie - Glad the 1st haircut went well. She clearly is a model little girl.

As I said to Sabi, I was going totally insane a few days ago. Now I seem to have been able to persuade myself that I have to wait a little longer for my little boy. I do not care about the extra days as long as they come though it at the end safely.

I waited a long time for our boy so can survive a little longer. Going to do some things in the next couple of days that will not be possible when he is here. Like getting a massage and going out just with my dh

If we have to wait until Tuesday then only another 4 days girls.
