Lovebug,
Congrats... you don't have to worry about how you sound... I completely understand. We had the option of transferring three (the third blast was questionable quality) but they told us about selective reduction. DH and I were almost in tears at the thought. We knew by transferring two we still ran the chance of twins/trips/quads but figured we would take that chance. I personally believe the good Lord helps us with what we can handle so I guess He was watching and relieved your stress. God bless your little ones. All three of them!

I have a feeling my clinic will try to mention "SR" to me but we have made the decision to not go for it. We have told RE when we first met with her that we knew there were chances of Triplets when we transferred 3 embies at a time. This time 2 implanted and 1 split making us end up with Triplets =\ I am happy but I can't lie and say I think everything is fine. I am scared about whats going to happen emotionally, physically, mentally and financially. We just didn't think this time all 3 would take since this was our 3rd cycle. We are leaving it in Gods hands. We are just taking it one step at a time!

Yeah I hear ya. Everything is making me nauseas. Im nauseas when im hungry, im nauseas when im full. Argh. Not really sure what you can do at this point. I actually found that eating crackers helps a bit because at least you have something in your stomach. I also find tomatoes sit pretty well. Othewise, I dont have any suggestions. :(

sip gingerale, anything peppermint, I agree with crackers. Only a few at a time!! I notice ritz crackers sit well with me. (personal preference) My RE told me I could take over the counter zantac if it got really bad.
The other thing I noticed is lying down makes my nausea worse. I have to have my head up alot.

If nothing else keep trying to drink. Don't get dehydrated!

Gingerale was my saviour! Also instead of buying preggo pops, which I heard were expensive, I bought lemon drops. They work well too. My mom told me to stay away from wheat, and ever since then i've been fine. I don't know if it's a family thing, but it may be worth a try.

Also I agree with keeping your head up and not laying down. I was sick for two days and now with these tips I feel pretty good.

Now smells.... They don't make me sick, but I am ready for a normal nose back! Smelling everything "in high def" (as my dh says) sucks!!! I've had to leave the apartment before just to get some air!!

Hope you feel better ladies:). Just remember ms a a sign things are goig well. It's protecting your body and baby from harmful bacteria, in addition your hormones are getting in sync with your little guy :)

Looks like last night I had a bleeding episode. I woke up to having my pantyliner full of blood. No clots just some light red blood. When I wiped there was also red in the TP. I went back to bed and it looks like this has stopped. Also last night was the first time I was throwing up a storm. I ate at 6 something and by 930 I was very sick. I felt like i was drunk. At the end of the night i also got the runs. I don't know if the bleeding had anything to do with it but please keep me in your prayers. I will go to my clinic on Monday so I will wait it out and see. If it gets worse I will have to run back to the ER.

Did i mention my set of twins are rare because they share the same sac? These twins are high risk but then again having Triplets is not getting any better. I am so scared and so worried.

Oh rose.. I will keep praying for you and the little ones. I know that I heard many times that bleeding with multiples is normal so try not to worry.

As far as nausea/vomiting... I haven't vomited but God this nausea... I can only imagine what triplets would be like.

My only thought regarding the "feeling drunk" is it may be another hormone surge.

Good Luck and keep your hopes high!!

Hey Girls,

I haven't been on in a while, and could use a pick-me-up... I had some pain in my left side and my RE had me come in yesterday. Since I am only almost 5 weeks pregnant, he didn't think we would see anything, but wanted to check on me anyhow. Well, there was what looked like the beginning of a gestational sac in my uterus. Also, there was some fluid next to my ovary. My RE said it is too early to tell whether it is my OHSS acting up again, or if it could be an ectopic in that tube. It is too early to tell anything, but I was hoping you ladies may shed some light on the situation. Have any of you had an ectopic? What were your symptoms? Also, what do you make of this?

Hi Lauren,

I'm sorry to hear about this. I have not had an ectopic myself, but from reading about it, you may have nausea, vomiting, fever, and very sharp pain in lower abdomen. Also vaginal bleeding is common. I think if you are having any of these symptoms you should definetly go to the ER. When did the doc tell you to come back?

Ok ok well I need to stop being a baby and accept the fact that sometimes I will have some bleeding episodes. Fortunately since that night it stopped completely. All 3 babies are growing fast and strong. Still twins and a singleton. Baby A has a HR of 135, Baby B 127, and Baby C 133. They are measuring between 6wks5days and 6wks6days. I have been released from my RE and also can stop progesterone shots. Ahhh hearing their hb was priceless :D
